Dodgy? Nice ambience with great staff and solid food! Nothing dodgy there! far from the namesake. Loved the Lamb, and the Butter chicken also was a hit. Been around a couple of times; always great to sit in an atmosphere that inspires...

We went there last week.
All i can say is that, after eating out in most of the nepali restaurants around Sydney non of them got superb MOMO like them. Great taste , less fat/oil inside. Chutney was bit hot but overall loved it. Visiting again soon.

Even with a stuffy nose from the flu, this chicken biryani I ordered was a flavor explosion! It’s the best I’ve ever tasted, and the spices provided some much-needed comfort. A must-try, even if you’re under the weather.

Loved everything about this place, from the traditional cozy ambiance to the taste. I was surprised with the varieties of dipping with papadums as complementary for free.

Ordered via DoorDash for the first time tonight, really yummy! Gave me some free extras and was just overall a good deal. Will be ordering again :)

Visited this place in Dee Why yesterday at around 5pm. Wasn't expecting it to be open and serving food at this hour but surprisingly they were. We were greeted by a very friendly and welcoming Nepalese waitress. We quickly placed our order comprising of veg malai kofta, garlic naans and buttermilk. Buttermilk is off the menu but they readily prepared it for us. Even before we placed our order the kind waitress brought us some papads, mango chutney, tamarind chutney, chilli pickle, mint yoghurt (raita) and some chopped onions & tomatoes. She then even got some chopped chillies once she knew that we enjoyed spicy food. The presentation of the food was pretty impressive and the taste was equally good. Portion is good too. Worth the money indeed. Would love to visit again.

We came here for my partners birthday we we had an amazing time!! I loved that even though we were 13 pple we didn't have to get the set menu. The staff were quite friendly and we were feeling very welcoming!
The food was delicious!! Full of flavor and lots of options to choose from! Everyone had an AMAZING time! They helped with the cakes and candle! They were really nice when we had to work out the bill too (big grouos can always be a bit challenging with bills). I would highly recommend it!

Very hard to find a decent Indian curry in Sydney but finally we have found the Dodgy Indian. We ordered the Vindaloo and Rogan Josh, both very spicy. They did not disappoint! Also the Bombay Potatoes were absolutely delicious. Food was ready on time and the service was very friendly. Definitely the first of many visits.

Currently The Nepalese Joint and the Dodgy Indian have joined forces under the same roof and offer you 2 menus on arrival (one for each restaurant). The waitress told us the two restaurants are under the same ownership so it made sense to join for now while there was an issue with the The Nepalese previous rental location. We absolutely love the Nepalese Joint, go there once every year, for the delicious Momo's and curry dishes, so were delighted.

I ordered takeaway, once getting the food home I discovered that they got 1 dish of the order wrong.
I phoned the next day and was given the option of money back or an order of what we originally ordered. I chose the latter. The food is exceptional. We ordered the chilli prawns, medium heat, butter prawns and the goat both mild. Can also recommend the butter chicken. So happy with the service and that they kindly fixed their mistake with a smile. The experience was very good. Definitely a winner here

Excellent Indian! It’s hard to find good Indian food in Sydney but this is easily the best I’ve had. I ordered the butter chicken which was delicious, creamy butter sauce with just enough spice. The cheese naan bread alone was worth coming back for.

Tried the butter chicken, lamb saag and the mixed vegetables curry. All well packed for pickup & very delicious!

My boyfriend ordered the tikka chicken masala, and It was one of the best Indian curries I’ve had!! We ordered it with naan, and cooked the rice at home, but there were so many extras that came with it! Some delicious peppers and chilli thing, papadams, minty yogurt and what I first thought was going to be a lousy and lazy take away dinner ended up being an absolute feast! Can’t wait to try the other curries - this is my new favourite.

Love Dodgy Indian 👌🏻 best butter chicken and garlic naan in the beaches. My only problem is having to book because of how popular it is.

Food was fantastic. Had to wait a few minutes after the time it was scheduled to be ready (ordered takeaway by phone), but definitely worth the wait!
