The Boathouse Palm Beach

Had an amazing lunch! What a great place to stop and have breakfast/lunch. A variety of seating is offered from indoor to garden to on the deck overlooking Pittwater. Food tasted very fresh and ever dish looked like it was carefully arranged on the plate. Food was faultless and service was good as well. Compared to other spots was a bit more pricey but definitely worth it as it's still great value for what you get

Impressed with the food prep and display , gotta love a chef that likes to take a photo of it. Keen attentive staff , great views and nice neat cafe. Food tasted as good as it looked.

It’s popular for a reason. Both a fun and classy spot to grab a bite near the beach and enjoy some sunshine. All the fish is absolutely delicious, and the pastries and coffee are wonderful as well. If you get lucky, you can see a few sea plane embankments and lots of dogs playing on the beach. A short walk to the path up to the lighthouse, too! Great spot.

Lovely view and great food. Had the tonic (ginger and turmeric) and salad platter. The lines can get pretty long on the weekend so have to get there early and parking can be a bit tricky. I’ve been to other boathouse restaurants and they are all good. Fresh food and nice, relaxed atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit after walking up the lighthouse in palm beach!

One of our favourite places to go for drive and a delicious brunch by the water. Parking cost is a bit high but worth it. We go fishing here sometimes as they have boat hire just next door. Super fun! Highly recommended.

There's everything to love about this place even if the first thing you notice is its busyness. The Boathouse rules as the Waterside café king along the Palm Beach peninsula. The concept is great: awesome food in a renovated boat house. The lines were long but part of the experience. The coffee was prompt, the fish and chips basket was generous, and the salad with grilled salmon was crisp and fresh. Next time I will try the cold seafood platter. It looked wonderful! But 5 stars from this reviewer on hitting all the right marks.

Absolutely amazing ambience and service. Even though it was packed with people, we got our order served real quick. The portions were hefty and it filled us up well. Great local crowd and true Aussie vibe. This is my FAVOURITE breakfast place in Sydney now!

This place masterfully embodies a very specific vibe. This place feels like every post card of a beach house and boathouse rolled into a three-dimensional space. Attention to detail and authenticity abound.

Good service and nice food. The coffee was good, but not genius. Giving it 5 stars as it’s hard to beat the location. Clientele: lots of old fogeys on day trips here. Outside: you might be lucky enough to see them filming ‘Home and Away’. Either way Pittwater is beautiful.

After taking a walk around Palm Beach we ventured to the Boathouse and ordered a bottle of wine and some lunch. Positioned ourselves at the back of the restaurant nearby the fountain surrounded by beautiful greenery with a view across Pittwater. This place was evidently popular by the line up to order our dishes. The food was delicious and the staff were definitely busy but were always accommodating. We have dined at Shelly Beach and Patonga and now we have been satisfied at Palm Beach. Fantastic

The food and water views are simply incredible. Make sure to go early if you're going in peak hours as the line can get quite long. Very friendly staff with great value good at a superb location.

Definitely go during the summer! We love the food and the views are splendid. It gets busy but the wait time isn’t that bad, 10 mins was the maximum.

Food and location were both great, staff were all very friendly and service was excellent. It’s fun to see the sea planes take off and land (you can take a scenic flight too if you like). Being so close to the beach is fantastic as the kids can have a play between courses.

You cant go wrong, food nice and healthy, the tuna cracker is the bomb all beverage options from healthy drinks to wine, yummy French rose you could drink bottles of beer coffee, amazing. Breathtaking spot and the best part, the film Home n away there so if ur a fan like i am head over and enjoy. Great sopt to just relax and unwind overlooking the water

If you visit the boathouse on a beaultiful summer day like I did, you will probably rate the place 5 stars as well, even though the menu is limited, the price is salty, and there is always a long line to order food....BTW, what the hell is this thing in NSW where you need to order your food in the bar ??? What happened with the good old table service???.....back to the review: I recomend a meal at the boathouse.

Gorgeous atmosphere, delicious food and lovely staff.

I have Crohn’s disease, which brings with it lots of difficult dietary requirements, but Jake and the chef were very understanding and more than accommodating - thanks for my customised salad, it was delicious, and the salmon was cooked to perfection! 👌🏻

Service is top notch. Attentive, fast and accomodating. The atmosphere is brilliant on the calm waters. Food is always delicious! Have not been disappointed to date. Love going back!
