Shelly Beach campground

Great clean camp ground with good eco toilet block. There is a small rainwater tank for washing your hands but you'll need to bring all your own supplies. We rode in on touring bikes; though it probably more popular with the boating crowd. We came in on a day of 40mm of rain and languished in our hiking tent.

Absolutely gorgeous, mid week and it was empty but beware the hairy man I lost my lighter for 45 minutes and then it returned, something strange lurks out there in mungo brush

Ok we travel from Mungo Brush to Shelly Beach Camping site by boat on our holidays in January 2022

Lovely place, we went there on the end of June. There were few puddles on the way but it was worth it. Nice and clean campgrounds, fresh water and facility of well maintained toilet. A place worth visiting.

Very beautiful campsite by beach and Bibbulman and many other tracks. Also hanggliding from the lookout. Basic amenities and affordable.

Magic little place in the middle of nowhere.

Great spot for boating. Just don't plan on putting a boat on the lake during windy days.

Adequate campground for a night or two. March flies were a literal pain in the butt. Dingoes frequent the space, so super important to keep food and scraps in airtight containers.
Difficult place to find firewood, although bbqs are available for use for cooking or as fire pits.
Spotted 2 brown snakes here in a 24 hour period and so many ants!
2 eco toilets.
Good access to the lake for swimming and kayaking.

Make sure you have your own boat to access to the camp site if not you need to carry your bags and walk for 11 Km.
