Really lovely place with lots of room. It is situated right on the lake in a clearing. The toilets are long drop but clean and with lighting. This campground is close to the ferry too.

Peaceful with large camping sites. Long drop toilets no showers it’s a beautiful spot

Love camping up here. My husband and I often come up from Newcastle and stay about week several times a year. So peaceful. Close to Hawks Nest for shopping. Lots of fauna and flora to observe . However, you must book online to secure a place.

Numbered sites (12 sites). Lake view was perfect, #4 when we stayed. Has a ground grill for sharing. Drop toilet that gets clean everyday, I think. A bit of walk to go to the beach and rainforest.

Clean and quiet, on the lake 1.5 k easy walk to the surf , drop toilet , all good

Lace monitors and dingoes, plus heaps of biting bugs. Good access to water front. Take toilet paper and your own water. Bring camera as sunsets are amazingly photogenic.

Beautiful spot right on the lake with great views to the hills on the other side. Beatiful sunsets while we were there.

Love this place. Easy spot to walk out into the lake to cool down. Shallow with a Sandy bottom. Great paperbark trees. A little windy but that cools the air.

The Wells is a really good spot to camp. Its a bit more sheltered and less windy than Dees Corner. The sunset over the lake was amazing.
