I didn't even know this place existed as I don't frequent Riverwood often, but glad I did! Their chicken burger is amazing, soft buns and fresh salad.

Chips are also great, and I've tried their shawarma which was also made by an older lady that served me (I think it's the mumma boss?), I'm not a fan of tabouli but she sold it well!

Will definitely be going back there again as I've not tried their actual charcoal chicken yet

My experience at this RESTAURANT was a 5 star hit. The food was fresh and delicious. The staff were friendly and provided excellent service. The atmosphere was welcoming making it a great place to enjoy a meal with friends or family. Would definitely recommend and come back ❤

The garlic sauce has to be some of the best we’ve ever had, the chips and seasoning are always so good and let’s not forget their signature char grilled chicken 🤤

The chicken is always amazing here! Love the flavour. Chicken is actually cooked over charcoal, not like some places that advertise charcoal.

We've tried alot of different chicken in the area (including EJs ) - AKLY always nail it every single time. Chicken is always juicy, even the breast. Their sauces have a home made touch in store and thus have a full flavour. The salads taste so fresh and refreshing. Everything is delicious.
Won't risk going anywhere else! Service is great, the parking is easy. There is also a big parking space across the little plaza.
Will be coming back!

Great service & friendly staff. Absolutely juicy & smoky charcoal chicken with my favourite chilli garlic aioli dip! They also have a selection of sides, salads & rice, my favourite is their lamb kebab skewer (super tender and flavourful). Highly recommend trying this out if you're in the area.

Lots of great chicken in Riverwood. But I taste Akly number one.

I only rate the atmosphere 3 not because it's bad but it's a local suburb shop with lots of seats.

If you bring the atmosphere with a group of 10 it more it's great. They have a no great outdoor section too.

Just not enough locals eating out. But, it's because their chicken is spot on the locals want to eat in front of their TVs at home lol. Like me.

I’ve become a regular. Eat in or take away. They cook everything fresh. The best falafels ever in the cleanest eatery in Riverwood.

One of the best chicken places, I ordered the chicken plate and also a kafta roll, went back for more!! Very delicious with great service. Thankyou will be coming back

Just ordered a shawarma wrap from here. The thing was massive and i was worried i was not going to finish it so got them to cut in half. Was going to have the other half for dinner. Ended up devouring the whole thing fir lunch. It was bloody delicious.

Great charcoal chicken, chips and tabouleh. All gluten free, including no cracked wheat in the tabouleh. Dairy free too, including the garlic dip. Delicious and a good price. The restaurant is also very nicely decorated but we had take away so will have to come back again some time to enjoy the setting.

This review is based on takeaway only - we wanted a good, easy, reasonably priced hot meal ($10pp) from a local restaurant. And this place delivered that. We had a chicken burger meal and chicken and lamb skewers. It was delicious and quick, no issues with ordering. It definitely filled the brief. We're happy that this is our local bbq chicken shop!

Went here for the first time to get lunch for the family for mothers day.
It's just an old fashioned family restaurant
The staff were so friendly and made you feel at home.
The chicken was delicious as Well as the condiments and chips.
Even the left overs the next day were still tasty.
Can't wait to go back
