Very good English tutoring centre. Teachers are always generous and so kindhearted. The study environment is very peaceful and the everyone encourages you to do the best!

SSE is an incredible school full of teachers who genuinely care about the success of all of their students both in and out of the classroom!

Jill, John, & all the teachers at SSE are some of the kindest people I have ever had the pleasure of associating with. They are the kind of people that I want looking after kids in Sydney, because I know how well they model being good, caring, and thoughtful people and how much they care for all of their students. Just being around Jill & John brings light to the day of those around them. Anyone who says anything otherwise is lying and that is incredibly unfair to the SSE and all its wonderful teachers and students. Thank you all for the incredible work you do!!!!!

The Sydney School of English has helped our daughters to improve their English by teaching them techniques to 'think' on how to write for their English essays and assignments, and not by rote learning. Thanks to their methods and their innovative ways of teaching, our daughters received offers from selective schools and I have no doubt their learnings from SSE will carry through the rest of their lives as they navigate through high schools and beyond. We couldn't recommend the Sydney School of English highly enough.

Sydney School of English is the best tutoring school I have ever enrolled my kids in. They have learnt a lot and I have seen them improve greatly. My three kids have followed them for 4-7 years and I have no complaints whatsoever. They don’t do entry exams because they believe that every child deserves a chance to learn and improve without being mislead by the thoughts of other people. I think that is super fair and so thoughtful of them. Every teacher is so amazing and very experienced. They teach students with patience and hard work. There isn’t much homework because they know everyone has other things to do throughout the week as well. I want to say thank you to every one of them as they were so helpful and treated all students the same.

My daughter enjoys the class very much. The teacher is great and make it fun to learn. And she has picked up good skill of writing and lots of new vocabularies.

My son has completed 3 terms with Sydney school of English. I would like to take the opportunity to say Thanks to his teacher Elisabeth and the team. He has grown into a confident writer and he actively participates in the class and I am sure he is going in right direction to get into his goal of getting g into selective.

I am especially impressed with the writing curriculum at the school. Ever since my son attended Jill and John's classes, he has gained excellent writing skills which is helping in everything he writes up to this day in high school. He obtained a full mark for the writing portion of his selective high school exam as well as acing the writing in his scholarship exams. Highly recommend this school!

Very experienced teacher. My daughter did learn written skills and improved after 1.5 terms- one 5 days holiday intensive lessons and 6 weekends of class. Highly recommend .

SYDNEY SCHOOL OF ENGLISH is fantastic. I highly recommend them. Jill & John are professional, caring and highly experienced and skilled. They also make learning fun and are encouraging.
Don't bother going anywhere else. The front office staff were also very helpful with all my enquiries.

Recently I enrolled my son to improve his English. I find that staffs and teachers are very friendly and helpful with all sorts of queries. Highly appreciative customer service and they even replied my email query with a very elaborative answer dictating step by step procedure of how to enrol and what level. I find it get easy to get with. Their study materials are very high standard and relevant to the subject matter. I strongly recommend this centre.

My son has improved his English in Y5 to a higher level by attending Gill's class in 2019. Very nice teacher.

My son went to Sydney school of English at Burwood and he talks really high about them. I could see that my son has improved a lot and would recommend to any one wanting to join this institute.
