Wow! Wish I had come here sooner absolutely delicious. 10/10! I will be back. All the food looked and smelled heavenly. Had the schnitzel baguette and Croissant, a coffee and a bottled juice.
The only thing I wish is that they had a dairy free smoothie option. I think it’s a gap in their market not having any smoothies without yoghurt. Please make a dairy free smoothie/frappe option, it will definitely be popular 🫶 Either way loved this place and highly recommend. Really fast service and fresh food, good for breakfast and lunch.

BSC is a gem. Excellent coffee, outstanding pastries, and hearty, quality pies. Today I returned to try out the food after a little exploration visit yesterday to try the coffee. I enjoyed a beef & cheese pie and shared the strawberry shortcake. The pie was noteworthy for its blend of quality ingredients and flaky crust craftsmanship. The shortcake was light and flavorful. We also got a cherry cheese croissant to split and it took the cake (sorry for the pun). The genius who figured out how to execute this croissant deserves a badge from the French. Well done on everything, BSC.

Staff is incredibly attentive and hospitable. It was a busy morning in the shop as locals, students, and others made their way in to pick up takeaways orders or to enjoy their goodies in the few seats available inside or out. It made for a lovely buzz without any sense of overcrowding.

We'll be back. So much more to try (and enjoy) ahead.

Love going here for a coffee, chicken schnitty sambo and will never say no to their cherry cheese pastry. We absolutely love their food and their amazing staff. Love their food so much that we absolutely had to have them apart of our wedding day! The strawberry cake looked amazing and was devoured. It was the perfect wedding cake. Thank you!

Gem of a bakery in South Coogee (on the way to Maroubra). Perfect spot to stop just up from the coast walk or easy to drive by. Pastries are always fresh and reasonably priced, and the baguettes are crispy perfection.

One of my favorite bakeries! I tried the pie, sausage roll, coffee, and cakes—all fantastic.

I didn’t think I would make it. I rushed on Saturday late afternoon, minutes before the cafe closed. The team were cleaning the place, and they could have barge me out, instead they were helpful, and I walked away with a few boxes of pastries and pies. We loved it all, and in particular the orange cake … it’s got to be one of, if not, the best in town! Thanks team 🙏 will be back

Delightful little oasis. Great food served by smiley faces in a friendly patisserie come snack room, with upbeat chill music in the background.
It is a great place to rejuvenate and relax at the same time.

Great bakery, staff are amazing and super friendly, love the family run buissness ethos. The coffee is awsome. The owner really know his Coffee! Highly recomend if your in the area! We had the Aubergine wrap which was super vegan option and it was to die for!!

This is my favourite local cafe and bakery. Staff are always friendly, the coffee are great, and the baked goods are fantastic. I love their freshly bake sourdough red velvet, Almond orange cakes and Almond croissants(honestly the best in Sydney) and steak Mushroom pie are sooo good. Must try if you are in the local area

Great family owned and run business. Didn't realise they had a $5 minimum for cards when I ordered my usual flat white with oat milk. No worries as they say over here - told simply 'pay next time you come in'. What are the odds of that with one of the multis? And the coffee? One of the best I've had in the seven weeks I've been over here. 👍 Shame I'd already eaten, as the rang of cakes and pastries looked amazing. Oh well, have to make sure I've got my wallet on me next time.

So great that South Coogee Bakehouse made it through COVID times. Great local bakery with a variety of cakes, baguettes, wraps and more. Ice coffee is a must. Staff is the best.

Soooo...This bakery... the stand out for me is the Cherry Strudel... if you're wanting to try this on the weekend, get in early or you will be disappointed. I'm assuming this is one of their most popular pastries, as they have increased the price on them. But it's definitely worth it!!
The coffee is a hot and miss...about 80% of the time the coffee has been amazing, but there has been the odd occasion where there's been someone new on the coffee machine, and you can definitely taste the difference.
We're local regulars here and would highly recommend you try every pastry available...you can thank me later!

We always get the Orange Cake which is a dairy free and gluten free cake for the birthdays in office. The taste is so good but I wish there were more DF and GF options:) Compared to other DF and GF cakes in other stores, this cake is cheaper and more delicious. We will definitely buy this cake for the next birthdays.

Best coffee I have had in Sydney yet!! And the bakery food is top notch, they never miss! Love all the sweets but especially the toasties and bacon egg muffins, they all taste super fresh.

The best quality coffee, sourdough and service in town. Consistently amazing. We drive past lots of other options for almost 6km every day (sometimes twice) for all of the above. Very noticeable quality and passion from the team. Clone this joint!
