Wandee Thai Restaurant (Umina Beach)

Often order takeaway from Wandee. You know how it goes - chicken satay, a red curry, a stir fry. Always good. Always consistent.
But when you are feeling adventurous and hit the dishes less travelled - prepare to have your mind blown. Flavours are so fresh, complex and perfectly balanced. Here’s looking at you, Chicken Malay Rendang Curry. A beautiful flavour punch and straight to the top of my list for next time!

We often get delivery and they consistently arrive earlier than expected and with a huge smile.

Pad thai prawn is yummy. Bbq squid is dissapointing as it is not whole squid but frozen squid cut.

Authentically true and tasty! It’s little wonder why, as they are helmed by a Thai crew. Pineapple fried rice was cooked well with a kick of spice. Portions were generous, enough for two to share. Service staff was also really friendly despite us coming in at 4pm (and they were still open). High recommended!

Best Thai food place in town! Tasty authentic Thai cuisine with great customer service! Conveniently located at the centre of Umina Beach town centre, parking close by, within minutes to local attractions. Spacious seating and loved their golden wall decors.

We love this local Thai place in Umina and always come for the Lunch Specials that include a drink! What more can you ask for. The serving size is generous, the food is served hot and fast and very tasty.

Absolutely delicious Thai food. Probably the best on the peninsula. We had a selection of curry, stir fry and noodles. Favourite dishes were the gailan and chilli and pumpkin lovers stir fries. Great selection of fresh veggies, perfectly cooked, generous servings and well presented. Service was attentive and friendly. Give this place a try, you won’t be disappointed.

I've ordered takeaway from this lovely restaurant 3 times now and I haven't been disappointed. The food is fresh, well made and the serving sizes are exceptionally generous. It offers great value for money and the food is delicious. I am impressed with the option to choose how spicy you prefer some of the dishes are cooked. In my experience, being new to the central coast, I have found spicy dishes too mild at other restaurants I have tried. Wandee Thai offers you real spice. Love it! Dine in seating seems a little "squeezy" but I highly recommend this restaurant 👌🏼

As a first time customer, I was pleasantly surprised by the freshness and quality of the food. It is great value for money and pleasant staff. I'll be back.

I was wondering why the place was almost empty but I guess it's because my family had late lunch. The lady there was the most friendly. Food tasted great and served in huge portions. My kids loved our dining experience, my daughter actually asked me to write this review and to give them 5 stars.

This humble place has an amazing food which is reasonablyprice and friendly staff.
If you come to Umina you have to try this Thai food.

I was here yesterday and got the grill beef salad and som.I Really enjoyed the Grill Beef Salad and Som, had the best customer service and staff were very friendly. Looked after very well and I end up coming back again for the second time. Highly recommend this place :)

Our favourite Thai on the peninsula and potentially The Coast. Prove me wrong!

We had such a tasty meal last time we were here: pork skewers (my two year old boy smashed two of these skewers); crispy pork noodle stir fry; and green chicken curry and rice. It was all beautiful!

The most amazing Thai food I have ever had

This place is close to Umina beach and in the centre of the suburb. It's a cosy place with some yummy Thai food. There is a wide range of vegetarian options. Good service as well. This place got full when we were there, so better to book seats if you are planning to visit. This place should be accessible,I am not fully confident on that.

What age? Delightful little place to find in downtown Umina. Small, friendly and a delicious and interesting range of foods beyond the usual Thai classics. Well priced and definitely on our list of places to revisit

Always fantastic food! Pad Thai and chilli jam noddles are amazing. Pork belly is absolutely delicious! Very generous portions and so many delicious veggies! Hands down the best Thai on the peninsula!
