Good fun! Highly recommend Fighter world for a family trip as it’s really fun with lots of things to do. Staff were really nice and informed me a lot about the different things.

The best place for RAAF fan’s, Coming here as a kid then coming here to fly are two different things. Staff are friendly and helpful, The museum was great and interesting. The food was very nice and had good texture. Great atmosphere, Put a smile on my face to see the future of the RAAF at the Museum and the cafeteria. Thank RAAF Base Williamtown :)

Cool place to see some military aircraft and trainings. Location on Google Maps is for staff and I don't think you can go inside boom gates as a visitor. Better to search on Google Maps for an actual viewing area outside of the gates.

A ghost in the Machine ( rental truck computer broken)
brought us here to switch for a replacement car, amazed at
the Jets fighters taking off, makes me wish i had joined the Airforce.
What's even more amazing is the view from above, the corridor through
the mountains that look like two large creatures facing off..
Australias lost history 🤔👁

Best spot for memories of my father taking me there when I was 8 before he passed away. Best spot for watching aircraft taking off and landing! Highly Recommended and the Air Force staff is very nice.

WOW!!! Sat here at viewing area at end of runway to get a glimpse of these almighty fighter machines as they went through their manoeuvres. Could have sat here all day! I never get tired of watching this.
Loud and Proud I say....
Check out the video and send off a like if you feel the same
Thanks to all who are based here and around the globe for keeping us all safe in this great country we call home...

An active and professional defence site. These guys don't muck around, I'm glad they're on our side. There is a roadside viewing area which offers the opportunity to see close up the training and active aircraft as they takeoff and land

Myself and my children loved Fighter World museum and I absolutely loved the F1 11's that came out and flew around. They blew my mind. :-)

The museum called fighterworld is worth visiting! Two cockpits are open to sit in. Outside the airbase often have planes.

Being a local here in Raymond Terrace it is such a great feeling to see our best men and women pilots out practising nearly 365 days of the year, and although I live right under the flight path "I JUST LOVE IT" when our finest military pilots are putting their skills to test right over our heads, I get a sense of just how protected we are knowing that these fine men and women are our neighbours, I hope it stays that way for eternity.... for those who may complain about the noise...... I bet every dollar I have ever made that if we were to be under attack these same people will be cheering our finest on.... need I say more!?...... P.S I love it when they are doing night training and those afterburners are at full burst.... It is such a great thing to see and I welcome and recommend all from around the globe that to visit this area, where through the day you can go on a wine tour see the sites of Newcastle and enjoy our pristine beaches and then at night be amazed at the night show put on for free on occasions by the RAAF jets.
