Ya-Malaysia Rhodes

Absolutely love their food! Their signature chicken is so delicious and different from any other places. They have a great range of items and everything I had so far is delicious, it is also very inexpensive. A perfect fix when you're craving something spicy!

Very pleased with what we ordered - CKT, Wat Tan Hor and chilli prawns. The noodle dishes had some wok hei; the CKT was lacking a little in spiciness but otherwise thoroughly enjoyable. Chilli prawns were great! Definitely mop up all that extra sauce with mantou or any form of carb you have at home.

We ordered the vegetable laksa and nasi lemak with yamalaysia chicken.

The laksa is one of the best I've had in Sydney (speaking as a Malaysian born), but the portion size is a little small. The portion was okay for me but may be too small for someone who's a bigger eater than me.

The nasi lemak was a true level 2 spice (none of that level 2 spice but actually mildly spicy bs). The portion size was decent, and great value for money.

The waitress was polite and alert for when we needed anything. Food came out pretty quickly and the restaurant was kept tidy and clean.

Would highly recommend and can't wait to come back to try some of the other dishes on the menu.

Came here on a quiet Monday night. The service was fast and very friendly. The food was excellent, with a perfect selection of Malaysian cuisine including Laksa, nasi lemak, roti and curry. Couldn't fault the food or the prices. We ordered 3 smaller meals to share between 2 of us which was a perfect amount. All up our bill was $40 with drinks. Easy street parking can be found and the restaurant is easy to find. Pleased to of found this little gem

The chicken laksa is delicious! They seem to use the hainan chicken pieces so it is super tender. Really good soup, but it is a bit chilli so if you are a wuss like me, you may want to ask if they can do less chilli

The Malaysian food here is awesome. The taste and spiciness is just right and very enjoyable.

I highly recommend the Sambal dishes, it is very delicious.

Staff service is very attentive as well, and the time from order to food on table is very quick as well.

Highly recommended.

Singapore style Hokkien prawn mee! Not a bad effort :) smooth and taste close to what you get back home.
You can’t be choosy when you all the way in Sydney and not Singapore! Good effort by the chef in recreating this classic Singapore dish!

Good service, delicious food. I highly recommend the Hainanese chicken rice. Don't be weirded out by the blue coconut rice that comes with the nasi lemak! It's just blue flower.

Sensational result on my Hainanese Chicken Rice search. Great Portian. Opens at 11 so you can have an early lunch before it gets busy and get back to work. Friendly service, free water, EFTPOS. Added to the work lunch list when on the road ! .

I have visited this restaurant twice and tried Hainan Chicken Rice and Char Kway Teow. Both are very tasty.

Service is attentive and the meals are great quality. Laksa is spicy and if that's your thing it's delicious.

Tasty, reasonably priced and authentic Malaysian food!

Tried Ya-Malaysia Rhodes for the first time last night. Was looking for a local Malaysian restaurant and saw this place on Uber Eats with photos of the food looking nice. Didn't expect the such tasty food.
We ordered the Salty Fish and Chicken fried rice and Veg fried rice. The Kam Heong Pipis and Kankung Belachan were really 5 stars. We wiped those plates clean with the rice as to not leave any sauce. The sambal prawns were tasty with solid size prawns but only a few. Their Ya-malaysia signature sauce was completely sold out as were one or two other dishes which shows how popular the meal is. Definitely would eat here again and hopefully get to have the Ya-malaysia Chicken.

Amazing food!!!! Great customer service, clean environment and delicious food!!! One of my favourite Malaysian restaurants in Sydney. The okra curry and coconut rice is a must!!! Also recommend the clay pot tofu dish!!!

Food is excellent and very good value. The chicken laksa is great and plentiful. Ya-Malaysia chicken is fantastic with a wonderful sauce.

Authentic Malaysian food . I absolutely love eating the Chicken Laksa and Prawn noodle soup here because all the food ingredient are pretty fresh .That is literally all I buy all the time because it is amazing. They are also very efficient and extremely quick.Good Stuff . Good customer service .
