Hong Kong Delight 九記

Hong Kong Delight is super convenient being right next to the train station, so easy to pop in to grab a bite. The food is very tasty, especially their BBQ meat, the BBQ duck and roast pork are my favorite. The prices are super reasonable, it makes my lunch and dinner easier than ever on my wallet.

If you are after the best roast duck,Soy chicken, roast pork & char siu. Look no further this place is my go to! Roast pork skin is always crispy, meat tender and juicy, duck & chicken never fails - tasty! Also great value for money, my dinner for 3 is sorted again!

Ignore all the negative reviews this place sells good food at good prices. Service can vary but this is because they are very busy at peak times. This is definitely the best Cantonese takeaway in Hurstville. The Chinese BBQ is on par with the other shops in Hurstville making it some of the best in Sydney. The choice items are also great, especially the Salt-N-Pepa pork. Chop is a must

Located conveniently next to platforms to Hurstville station, this place is great for commuters to stop on the way home to buy something for dinner.

We tried the roast duck here for the first time today and this place is just as good as the other famous roast duck shop in nearby Campsie.

The meat was very tender, not too fatty and the flavour is just right (compared to some other Chinese duck places where they use too much Five Spice in the marinade).

This place is certainly a delight and lives up to their name.

I was surprised to see all the negative feedbacks here since i found the food fairly tasty and price is rather reasonable. Maybe we will try again to see the stability of quality😊

Good place. Basically lived off it when I resided in the area. Still go back with friends.
The older gentleman doing the chopping is a machine. Generous portions here compared to other chop chop shops.
The buffet food is usually good, especially the beef brisket. Serving size really depends on the server. Noticed a girl who was infamous for her small portions is now serving more generously meaning this place takes constructive criticism well.
The house soup is delicious and rich in flavour. Cheap too.
Top it all off with a plum tea. My only wish is that chicken feet and roasted chicken liver were available.
As for those people who complain about the temperature of the barbecued meat. Take a look at it, it's hanging on display, of course it's going to be room temperature, that's how it works at all of these places. It's normal!

I will NOT coming back ? Cause last week I bought 1/2 kg pork but.... When I went home I weight only 400g and not the one I saw ? ? ? Old and dry ???
