Super underrated restaurant, the decor was pretty and shows they put a lot of effort into creating the atmosphere. The menus were even made of bamboo!

Food was the right sized portions and did not skimp on ingredients for the sushi (more fish than rice).

Love the atmosphere of this little place. The food doesn’t disappoint either. The miso ramen has a great flour and was fantastic with the Tantanman. ありがとうございます

Very nice cosy atmosphere, food is self serve ordering via your own phone as with most places and service was good.
Food was great and tasty however the sashimi pieces were cut inconsistently as in tuna and king fish were massive chunks and salmon was thinly cut. Overall it is a nice little place to dine.

We tried, the octopus salad - chopped octopus dressed in mustard wasabi mayo (?) Served cold. The eel sushi - eel was nice and soft, and the fish roe sushi roll.
We then had the seafood ramen and the karaage Bento box. Seafood was nice, we could've asked for more extra seafood meat, but it is within the price for the quantity served. The Bento box was fulfilling, it had kaarage chicken about 4-5 chunky pieces on a bed of cabbage, and fresh salmon sashimi, Prawn tempura and sweet potato tempuras, with friend soft tofu, mashed potato along with a bowl of rice and miso soup! Thank you for such a cosy experience on a cold night!

Very unusual to find a good authentic izakaya at Hurstville. A nice japanesd restaurant is the least thing you think of in this 'Chinatown'. I love the decor, make you feel like dining in Japan. Prices are very very friendly! Good quality food. Softbones and softshell crabs are must trys. Food to table is around 5 mins. Drinks are cheap, staffs are friendly.
Highly recommend it.

This place located just few mins from Westfield Hurstville. It was not crowded when we had lunch on Sunday afternoon.

We ordered chicken teriyaki bento and chicken combi donburi.

My chicken teriyaki bento was awesome. The chicken teriyaki was delicious, the tempura was on point crispy and the overall side dishes were very satisfying.

The cats theme on the menu and restaurant gives a nice touch as well, and those cats on the menu gave us something to laugh about.

There is one thing that can be improved which is the rice quality. While it wasn't bad I could tell that it wasn't a proper Japanese rice and the cook might put just a little too much water. But nevertheless for the price it was very good value that's why I rate this place 5 stars.

Absolutely delicious. Come here quite often and the quality is very consistent. Very cheap and would definitely reccomend to any Japanese cuisine lovers in the area.

Great value for money. The bento boxes have the best selection of little bites + the main. It's a bit squeezy if you have 4 or more people but worth it for the delish dishes

I’ve been coming here for more and 10 years and it is still my favourite local casual Japanese. Great food, especially the Karaage Chicken and Teriyaki Chicken, sushi is also very good. Now on Uber eats I can’t resist myself sometimes haha!

Found this restaurant by chance and was blown away with how delicious their food is. Sure, the restaurant is small- but the food is always outstanding! I order often via delivery also- it’s always, fast, fresh and still warm.
I get turned off when sushi/handrolls come straight from a fridge- Kazuki make it fresh and crunchy every time.
Highly recommend!
