We first tried this place on our way to Adelaide. It’s absolutely amazing - fresh seafood and generous serving, and crispy chips with just the right amount of salt. The boss was so kind and gave us free fish as we ordered as big family. Then we came back - the quality is good as last time. Highly recommend their great fish n chips to everyone.

Today I went for the 3rd time. Two flathead fillets, a prawn, a scallop, and a mussel. Excellent value for $19.

Fresh and delicious. We ordered 2 grilled flake & garden salad with a side of chips and calamari. The grilled flake was super tasty especially with the fresh salad. The calamari was really fresh. Everything was seasoned perfectly. Staff were very friendly, they even had a gorgeous bouquet of flowers when you walked in. Loads of seating inside and out. We ate outside and the shop was super busy with people ordering takeaway, can’t miss stopping by if you’re in the area.

The best steak sandwich I’ve ever had in my life. Cost $21 but it was huge and made with real porterhouse steak. Was cooked perfectly. Will be back again next time I am in Colac.

Just passing through and craving fish and chips, when we found Apollo. If you want great food, call in before siesta at 2.30pm or come back after 5pm. You won't regret it!

As an avid King George Whiting enjoyer, I have been travelling the coast in search of perfection.

Today... my search has ended.

Ahh... My heart skips a beat whenever I reminisce of that once in a life-changing experience.
That fillet of fish was so fresh, it was as if Poseidon himself blessed it. Each delicious morsel was a slap from the Little Mermaid, that incomprehensible flavour that can only be achieved at Apollo Seafoods is a force to be reckoned with.

To top it off, the owner, Sensei Savvas Perisanidis, had exemplary customer service. He is in fact, Poseidon in my eyes.

Got our seafood from here and have done so for a few years now
for Christmas. This year Oysters (fresh)and prawns (frozen) were magnificent, especially the prawns just Yum. Would highly recommend.
Have had fish and chips from here many times also and never been disappointed

Best fish and chip shop in the South West. Fresh market seafood available and freshly cooked to your liking. I have brought Sam and Nicole’s seafood for many years and it’s consistently fresh, delicious and served with a smile. I recommend you call in and try the fantastic range of seafood, hamburgers, souvlaki’s you won’t be disappointed.

Whacha gonna do.... fish and chips in Colac, you betcha. Great value, delicious and worth a visit. Great conversation across the counter, excellent communication from the order person. Dont think.... do it

Everything we had was amazing! The fish was fresh and delicious (they claim to be the only local takeaway to source local fish, if believe it from the taste), the chips and gravy was insanely tasty and the burgers were filling and fresh.
Ended up just passing around bits of everything with the kids, very happy and full family!

Thank you for the great fresh seafood for our NYE! Family had a great day enjoying everything. The platter looked great, food was delicious and filled up the 12 of us.

The fish and chips were pretty decent, i think the problem was the fish being too soft, and how it doesn’t have that much salt and pepper. The fish batter was softer than the chips, but it tasted fine. The salmon fish was amazing, the only minor complaint is not having enough salt, but besides that it was just great. For only $21, it taste like something twice it’s worth. The fish and chips were $18 which was decent. I would totally recommend the salmon, absolutely delicious

These are NOTHING like the tasteless unlovingly slapped together processed fast foods options such as McDonald's or Hungry Jack's.

Good quality, fresh & tasty ingredients....very generous portions.

The steak is 200gram porterhouse....it's thick & juicy.

Very messy, juicy & drippy to eat....but that's what makes it even more YUMMY!

Their bacon is very tasty & they are definitely not skimpy with it....so delicious...afterall EVERYTHING is better with bacon!

NOT like paying $2 for bacon at McDonald's or Hungry Jack's & getting 1 very thinly sliced overpriced piece of tough bacon that's no bigger than a credit card.

I also highly recommend their crumbed fish.

Only fish & chip shop in Colac that does crumbed fish.....crispy crunchy crumbs outside with beautiful tender tasty fresh fish inside....generous sized portions as well.

Their burgers with the lot & chicken schnitzel rolls with the lot are also very moreish.

I haven't tried their souvlakis yet....but I'm sure that they will be absolutely delish as well.

I've also been eyeing off their lamb & chicken mixed grill pack for 2....I reckon it would be super tasty....maybe add a steak, bacon & eggs to it.

Their gravy is amazing too....so yummy on their hot crispy chips with chicken salt....takes the humble chip butty to a whole new level.

I reckon their gravy recipe must be a long standing highly guarded family secret.

You all do an awesome job....keep it up!

Ordered grilled barramundi and chips.

Fish was done to perfection, crispy but still moist,

every single chip was spot on.

Will be coming back!

This is the first time I liked fish chips ever, I didn’t like it at other places.
Good place to stop for food on the way back to Melbourne from 12 Apostles.
Staff were friendly. One of the staff approached us and told us to use our hands to eat so it’ll be tastier. 😊
Easy to find parking and there is a park/playground just opposite.
