Great customer service and easy to find everything we were looking for

We have spent many hours working on a large Diamond Dotz project only to discover a shortage of Dotz. Diamond Dotz provided more, however the dye lot numbering had changed, and so the new dotz did not colour match. This is where Rob and Helga came in. They very kindly and cheerfully devoted their time to help us find a match. Thank you!

Great variety of magazines, newspapers, cards, stationery, and lots more, friendly service, and Tilly soaps, nearly forgot the best soap ever.

The owners of this store have inspired me to only visit Mollymook Newsagency from now on.

Unfortunately, when visiting the store, the abusive nature of the owners (in particular the woman) was of a vulgar and paranoid nature.

I had a negative encounter with a staff member who was accusatory and rude. I had items in my hand that I was hoping to purchase but after our interaction I put everything back.

In reply:

If you review the footage you would also see that we had several items that we were committed to purchasing. What you were witnessing on the footage is called perusing, in which a person will study the item before deciding whether or not they would like to make a purchase.

We are aware of what a library is, thank you. This is a rather condescending approach to retail.

The staff member you had approach us did not in fact ask if we needed help with anything in the store, she accused us of utilising the space as a library and implied that we were not welcome. We explained that we had set aside items that we were interested in purchasing to which this staff member continued to rudely repeat her rhetoric without listening. We then returned all of our items that we had intended to purchase. We will buy these products from another retailer, thank you.

Don't go there, with the health alert now in force this place has created "corridors" where you can't avoid the other customers, people are picking through cards and newpapers and the shop lady uses the same pair of gloves to serve everybody - no sanitizer in site. When does buying scratchies and a paper become a necessity? - Close this shop.
