Food is always fresh, delicious and cooked up perfection. There's such a large menu that there's something for everyone. The store is always clean, there's a ramp which makes it disabled friendly and there's tables to sit at if you want to dine in. All of the staff are happy, friendly people. Maroubra charcoal is my go to chicken shop.

I have been visiting this family owned shop for over 15 years. I go for the yummy charcoal chicken and chips (and chicken salt) however they have a large range of salads and other menu items. Chickens are cooked throughout the day so remain fresh and moist. Pricing is very reasonable with good size servings. Very friendly staff.

A frequent customer and their gesture today of adding something that I forgot to order from Uber and trusting me to pop in and pay tomorrow is a good reason to leave a review.

This is definitely Greek chicken so expect a Greek slant to their dishes. Everything has as strong, robust flavour which I love. The salads are always fresh and you're treated like an old friend every time you visit (that person who complained that the staff were rude must have a really special definition for the word rude).

Definitely a great place to grab a delicious and well priced meal. If you get a snack pack it will easily feed 2 people for under $20.

Just had an amazing hamburger and the most delicious chips.
My husband is not well and his appetite is very poor.
This morning when he woke he asked me to pick up those delicious hamburgers that I normally get.

I have been coming to this Maroubra Charcoal Chickens since i was 12 I am now 28 and the food service and workers are the best! Good food and good prices.

Now that Greek Islands chicken and special sauce is brilliant. Yum!!

Over 10+ years as a customer of this business, I have been consistently impressed with the friendliness of staff, and the price and quality of the food. I look forward to my regular visits and in my own experience, cannot recall a single incident of rude staff, bad food, or botched orders.
