Australia Post - Strawberry Hills Post Shop

I went here to get money from Western Union and had some inquiries about sending parcels. I was assisted by Richie. She was so helpful and accommodating. Great service 👏

I use this branch mostly for work things and the occasional return. Always great service and quick. They are friendly and helpful and today went above and beyond when I had a major issue. I hear people moaning at the staff sometimes and the staff are always polite.

I have been to this post shop many times since I keep missing packages. I have never tried to mail things, so I cannot comment on their full range of services, but I have nothing but good things to say about parcel collection. First of all, parcel collection is open until pretty late-6 pm, and around 5:30 pm the crowd levels are pretty low. I generally show up close to 5 pm and I feel like social distance protocols are very well maintained and the space is very open and clean. The staff are also super helpful—I went to collect a package that somehow did not get associated with my account and was not in their usual spots, more ready to be sent back area, and they dropped everything as a team to go and locate the package for me and found it. I hope I have a similar experience when I start using their mailing services as well!

Guy at the front was extremely helpful. I had a few questions and he explained everything clearly and showed me all my shipping options. Very little wait time.

90% of the negative reviews are about the postman or couriers, not about this AP office itself.
I've lived in the area for 2 years, and had many packages taken here for pickup.
I've always found the staff helpful and efficient, they have a great parcel area and system in place so packages are normally located and handed over in short order.
They're a busy office - usually between a half and two dozen people in line at any given time waiting to pick up packages, but they move through them at a decent rate so it isn't frustrating.
And as far as it goes, it's a nice location to be going for a walk to pick up a parcel.

24*7 Good after hours facility with vending machine for Express Post satchels of all sizes and also the other Australia Post to services. open access 24 X 7 is good to see

I have been going to this Post Office for years for parcel collection, passport renewal and sending domestic and international mail every time. I have been met with fantastic and professional customer service.

The post office is significant, and it has a separate parcel collection, an array of products, and ample space to write and package mail.

They have a small car park, even if the car park is full, you would wait a few minutes and someone will likely be leaving and you can take their spot, otherwise you can typically find a street park down the side road.

The best service I have ever received at Aus Post. Thanks to the young lady who served me today. Forgot to ask her name 😓

This is the best post office! The staff are efficient and helpful, the centre has great early opening hours for parcel pick-ups, and there are postal lockers which are free and super convenient. It is surreal how good the experience here is (and bizarre how excited I am about it), but it’s true.

I came into Australia Post this morning to get a quote for parcels to be sent to New Zealand and USA.

Marianne was excellent. She went out of her way to help me. She came out of the counter and walked with me to the shelves to select an envelope that fits the item I wanted to send to New Zealand.

She then wrote the total charges for both parcels after weighing them for my reference.

I thanked her for her helpfulness and her kind gesture. She very humbly appreciated it but said it’s her job to help. What an amazing lady.

This is a review of the branch, not any of the drivers. If you've never been here before, you should be aware that sending and picking up packages are done in slightly different areas, with different lines. I arrived 15 minutes before the branch was closing, and I was in the line to pick up a parcel, with about 30 people in front of me. The line was moving quickly, and I made it before the branch closed (they continued working after the official closing time, 5 pm as of now). At the counter I found out that I cannot send my package because it's in a different area of the post shop, and since it was already past 5 pm, there was no chance I could stand in the line and make it. The woman at the counter, Tiarna, was extremely nice and accepted my package even though she didn't have to -- thanks, Tiarna!

The staff are always friendly and efficient. They are able to get through a large volume of customers pretty quickly

I have picked up from here twice on a Saturday morning and both times it's been seamless. Friendly staff who are run off their feet.

Yes it's busy but frankly what do people expect,when Saturday is the only day people who work 9-5 can pick up their parcels. I'm so glad they are open on a Saturday.

The shop can get very busy after 3.30pm, but I have found the staff are very efficient and friendly both for parcel pickup and post banking.

Rani is fantastic. I've been having issues with many package deliveries to my business address. She took down the tracking numbers and reviewed my case. She followed up and gave me option s to solve this to the future. Fantastic support.

Abraham (Express post) was really helpful. I missed the delivery time but somehow he recognised me when I was walking towards my home and so saved my trip to the post office! That's great service there, a big thank you!

I came to collect a registered letter that Michael went at the back to collect for me and what was also truly appreciated in particular was that upon Michaels return he brought back along with him my PO Box mail as well, and what a gentleman at that!🎩

Impressive service & speed!! I’ve been going to pick up parcels for many years and it’s never been this good. The staff are friendly and extremely fast. I’ve seen some of the angry Xmas rush customers they deal with. It’s a tough job and they deal with it well. Congrats and Merry Christmas 🎄
