Australia Post Darlinghurst

This review is for the Oxford St postman Paul. Last month he went out of his way to deliver my stores heavy package personally to me, after realising I could not go pick it up & carry it back as my finger was fractured. Thank you so much Paul for your kindness & fantastic customer service.

I’ve always liked Darlinghurst Post Shop over the years as I’ve found them to have a good team, but lately there’s a group on the front line who are outstanding. They give me the feeling that they work well together and ENJOY doing so; there’s an undercurrent of ease and understanding amongst them that is telepathic. If a queue gets too long it is cleared at a moments notice in competent, smooth, super efficient fashion. I’d like to single out the aptly named Charisma who seems to have it (charisma) at her fingertips. It’s really amazing to witness how she handles all manner of inquiries and transactions with professional steel and friendliness. She’s quick (in a deceptively leisurely way), accurate, knowledgeable and throws in some light hearted banter for good measure that’s topped off by a soft, musical laugh. Cheerfulness that’ll stay with you for life !! GO CHARISMA !!!!👍⭐👍⭐👍⭐👍⭐👍⭐👍⭐👍⭐

Friendly and informative service. Passport renewal process was almost smooth, staff was informative, helpful and decisive. Come in at the right time and almost no queue. Come at the wrong time, the queue will cost you your time. Two entrances, pass the concierge and there's also a back door access.

My review pertains to postal shop itself. I've always had excellent service there. Nothing is too hard and they are both friendly and helpful. They've always had the parcel that they indicated they had received. I think people believe that the parcel delivery team is the same as the postal shop team. They're not the same and inevitably the system sometimes breaks down. I would never blame the shop staff for a parcel that may not have found its way to the post office in the time frame left on the card.

Reading some of these comments I’m appalled. The expectations of some of you customers is shocking. Expecting staff to address your parcels for you? Seriously!
I’ve been a customer in this store for a while and have seen the way the people treat the staff, I’m totally shocked! We are in a society where if you don’t get your own way you scream and shout and look like twits, but then you blame the staff!
Just remember the staff has been trained in their job, and their concern is you get YOUR parcel and not mis delivered by the staff. Bring your ID, be polite, and act human not a bunch of screaming banshees.
The staff has your best interest, if they can’t process your applications LISTEN to why and it’s up to you to correct it, don’t just choose to hear certain things then blame the staff.
The staff at Darlinghurst is so professional and is a delight to shop here, I apologise that the customers (my neighbours) feel they have the rite to scream at you, point fingers and behave badly.

Outstanding and fast service! Not sure why so many people have left poor reviews, but I had an excellent experience.

Located on ground level inside larger building. Lines can get long depending on the time of day you go there. Staff very helpful
