Dr Serb was very meticulous and kindly in dealing with my inflamed gum surrounding a painful tooth and I was relieved with his advice that the tooth can be saved. Joy, the receptionist, was very pleasant and phoned me next day to check if the tooth pain had subsided.

I found Peter and his team easy to deal with and very professional, from booking my appointment with the receptionist, who is amazing and super helpful to meeting Peter.

I needed an xray before my appointment with Peter, I was so grateful that Joy referred me to have my xray done, went smoothly.

I find Joy very professional and resourceful, direct and easy to talk to. She listens and gives intelligent advice.

I have read some of the reviews about her and got a bit nervous before I met her and she is the opposite to the negative reviews. I dont think you can believe any of the negative reviews you read about her. Some of the comment about her is absolutely NONSENSE. May be these people couldbt get their way and they should look at themselves, probably treated her like rubbish which would be unacceptable.

I honestly found Joy fantastic, she went above and beyond to help me. Be nice to people, treat people with kindness, treat her with respect and you shall receive more.

I came to Dr Peter Serb after many visits at a number of dentists failed to diagnose and properly treat my gum condition. After 2 years under his care and treatment, the problem was resolved. His staff have always been courteous and my positive experience at this practice has led me to refer many friends and family with complete confidence.

I've been seeing Dr Serb at Burwood Dental Specialists (BDS) for a few years now when I transferred from another CBD specialist and have been recommending this surgery to friends since, not only for the excellent periodontal care and valuable advice, but also for the very friendly and helpful staff, in particular the lady at reception. I was very surprised yesterday when checking on Google for nearby parking to discover a previous bad review stating: “Totally passive aggressive receptionist, and 100% rude!” all apparently due to the fee claimed for a last minute cancellation of appointment by a patient. I remember being originally advised of this cancellation policy with fee and I am also aware this is clearly stated on the BDS website, but maybe some people just prefer to look for any reason to complain, real or not.

Best of the best periodontist in Sydney I took my wife to have a deep gum cleaning and we got fantastic service from dr peter serb and friendly ,welcoming, informative , beautiful lady at the reception, Highly Recommended.

I do not recommend visiting this doctor. Firstly, he is not a specialist in dental implants. He only has a master’s degree, and this is a big difference. He placed a dental implant for me and did the crown for me, but he failed in that. It was very painful. I lost more than 8 thousand dollars and suffering 4 years of pain . And the end he says to me , “I can’t do anything for you.” Then he tells me to go to a anther doctor. In the beginning, he and his wife, the doctor who works at the resption, give you the best reception, and in the end, they expel you from the clinic. I consulted 4 doctors in Sydney and they told me that dental implants are wrong and failed because The doctor and I are now taking the procedures to take him to court. You pay them the price of dental implants 4 thousand dollars, and on the day of the review, they ask you to bring a face mask, and they send you to buy it from the coffee shop below. What stingy people I have never seen in my life. Now I have to do surgery to remove the implant and this will big damage with bone and money , please do not go there just find right doctor.

Disgusting behaviour and service towards their clients. I went with my friend and dr Peters was extremely rude along with his staff. They were not welcoming at all and extremely rough with my friends teeth. Has to be one of the worst dentists I have come across. Would not recommend to ANYONE.

The receptionist has a mental health disorder. After explaining that I have a medical exemption for masks when making my first appointment since Covid started, she booked just before lunch when she said no other patients would be there. On arrival, from behind a mask and a screen, she freaked out because I didn't have a mask on to walk past her desk into the treatment room and would allow me to have my appointment! She was shaking and rambling about having her mother in a nursing home and couldn't take the risk and that I was making her anxious. I was ejected from the practice and told I couldn't come back!! Medical discrimination due to paranoia and neurosis.

Be very careful of the Dentist Peter Serb! Loads of delaying and stuffing around despite the urgent work. Very money hungry! That receptionist JOY is no joy and a very rude woman!! How can you speak to people like that when a simple request is made!!! There was no need for rudeness. AVOID at all cost!!!
