Barcaldine Country Motor Inn

Have stayed here for over 13 years. In that time this motel is constantly being upgraded in maintenance, service. Very friendly, professional owners and staff. It is in immaculate condition, very clean, comfortable and location is second to none. Nothing is too much trouble for Carolyn, Dave and staff. Lovely dining room with great food and service staff. You will find it very hard to find better and I stay in motels all over the place.

Great stay booked last minute super helpful & friendly. Comfortable bed & good night sleep after long day of travel. Got a nice hot shower before bed, air conditioning was great. Parking outside room. Would stay again

We stayed in a cabin. Great layout. Comfy bed. Inviting pool. The grounds are a credit to the owners. Sitting on the shaded veranda you could imagine you are anywhere in the world. This is how a motel should be run .

The cabin was clean, modern and quiet. After a long day on the road it was lovely to experience a comfortable room with excellent self-service facilities. Thank you.

Clean, fresh rooms - you can really tell that staff go above and beyond with wonderful customer service. We had a great meal in the restaurant/dining room - large homecooked meals with cold drinks at good prices. We really loved the little touches to make our stay. Our only issue was the location - as its right on the highway, the front of the rooms are not very sound proof and you do hear all the trucks rumble through. It wouldn't stop us from staying again though!

Near new villas. All kitchen utensils. Very clean. Lovely comforting bed. Slept well!

Owners were very nice, and they clearly put alot I'd effort into room maintenance.
Town was great too.

Staff were the highlight, very well trained in customer service, putting the customer first right from the start, fantastic manners, really appreciate it, thanks so much. Room was nice, bed a little to soft for me but still slept well, food was fantastic and well presented..room service was great also, thanks to all who ENJOY their jobs as it is a reflection into how they treat their customers, well done, will return one night again when I'm travelling through again..👍🥰

Beautiful Motor in with lovely well kept cabins, very spacious and tidy, my side of the mattress was a little dippy in our cabin but that is the only gripe, hubby slept like a log! The lovely lady who served us upon arrival is more than happy to assist with whatever you need. It has a great location within walking distance to the Barcy main street, beautiful bbq area and pool area although we didn't swim as it was a bit chilly during our stay. Thanks so much and we will be back again!

Our family of 5 stayed in two adjoining rooms for one night. Perfect accommodation. Exceptionally clean rooms, comfortable beds, quiet at night. The pool is well kept and perfect for the kids. Great service & affordable. Thanks!

Great place for a few nights if travelling out west. Restaurant is fantastic - food is absolutely beautiful and supplied in a good, outback serving!! Rooms are very clean and comfortable. Can't go wrong here!! 👍

Situated on the main street has a restaurant with delicious meals. Very handy to shops. Very clean comfortable beds and air-conditioned. The staff are friendly and do a fantastic job keeping the motel in order and very clean

This is by far one of the most beautiful motels I have stayed in Queensland. Extremely lovely and friendly staff with high quality food at very reasonable prices. The cabins are clean as brand new!

We had 2 cars and a boat to park, management couldn’t have been more accommodating to fit us in. Dinner at the restaurant was an awesome country meal, drinks were also very reasonably priced. Staff were friendly and professional. We had never stayed here before but will certainly be back and recommend.

We stayed here on our way to King Ash Bay. The food was divine, we had dinner and breakfast, they really take pride in their cooking and also in their service. Rooms were exceptionally clean and comfortable. Highly recommend a stay!

I have been coming here for years for a job in Barcaldine and we always stay here. Carolyn and Dave are so nice and this place definitely has the best restaurants in town.

Accomodation is clean. The complementary XXXX's are the best after working and the food is sensational. Although I will forever be sad about the gumnut burger being gone from the menu, the rump steak always hits the spot.

Enjoyed my stay! Room was clean, beds comfy, and restaurant served tasty food. Conveniently close to the Tree of Knowledge. Highly recommend!
