Amazing food. Taste like homemade, very generous portions and good prices.
What I believe to be the owner, was giving free ice cream for the kids after their school. What a beautiful gesture. Loved this place, would highly recommend it!

Enjoyed our late lunch here reasonable prices. Ordered 4 dishes, total under $40 for 2 people. Chicken cold salad is bit too strong flavored. Rest 3 dishes are very good. Recommend.

The menu is plentiful and there is something for everyone’s palate/ taste. The food was quick and delicious as well as reasonably priced. My family of four ordered together and shared. There was plenty of food for all, in fact there were leftovers. We had the 1/2 chicken, a large Cesar Salad, large mixed greens, and a large potato wedge. Each of which could have been fulfilling to any individual by itself. Overall the service was great the vibes were good and the food was delicious. Highly recommended if your in the area!

Chargrill Charlie’s is back in Coogee and is extremely popular with the locals because every time I see it, they have a huge amount of people in the shop. Be prepared to take a ticket when you enter and wait to hear your number. During the busy times you can expect to wait for a while. They have a lot of staff working behind the counter though, so it’s not too bad. The food is fresh and delicious. Everything is given to you in takeaway packaging but you can sit at the various tables and chairs in the shop. There is even a large sink with soap to wash your hands before and after eating. Or you can use the hand sanitiser available at the front entrance. They have a huge variety of meals to choose from starting with their signature bbq chicken, hot wings, schnitzel, potatoes, chips, vegetables, salads, salmon, burgers, milkshakes and so much more. Chargrill Charlie’s in Coogee have added a very impressive salad room which you can view through glass panels. The fridges are expertly packed with the freshest ingredients which get cut up in front of you before being placed in the shop counter for sale. It is really cool and the salads are so delicious.

Chargrill Charlies is located at a very prominent location plus with its bright red signage, it is easily recognise on the way to Coogee beach. Customers will need to get a number in order to be served. When the numbers is being called, prepare to order and pay. Food is served almost immediately after we were seated. Grilled chicken is very flavorful and juicy, remember to pair it with Thai sauce, it is super good! This is a shop worth returning for us.

One of Juciest grilled chicken I've eaten... totally Loved it. This place has a wide variety of choices of salads and side dishes. Golden Quinoa and the bean salad were amazing. Staff is really friendly and they will help you decide the best combos

We stopped by for lunch. The food was cooked perfectly, and the portions were generous. We had half a roasted chicken, baked pumpkin, thia chicken salad, and a vegetable fritter.

We love the Coogee Salad Bowl and it's our absolute favourite!!
Always fresh, tasty and the servings are good value and generous.

Chargrill Charlie's is the 'bomb'! Fantastic fresh food. Excellent choice of salads, kebabs, roasted chicken meals and vegetables.

Go for the Portuguese Chicken Roll (not burger) and stay for the Apple Pie.
