We spent a quick weekend getaway here to end the school holidays. The cabin was clean and a great size for us. Close distance to everything we wanted to do as well as the added benefit of being surrounded by bush land so a quiet area. Perfect place for a nice quiet getaway!

We stayed in Winter. Beautiful place in a beautiful location. Surrounded by Australian jungle and mangroves. There's a peacock roaming. If you're lucky you might spot a Koala. A pool, an arcade, lots of room to run around. The dock is right there. Close to Salamander Bay so it's a quick drive for groceries. We stayed in a cabin and it had everything you need for a glamping experience. Very clean! Lovely staff and the family that owns the village are some of the kindest people we've ever met. Can't wait to come back.

We have just had a long weekend as a group of 6 families at Island Leisure Village and can not recommend them highly enough. Fantastic spot that is right on the water for boating/ski activities and only 10 minutes from a Stockton Beach drive and other fun activities. The customer service was fantastic and we can’t thank the staff there enough for their friendliness throughout the stay.

We have been back to camp about 5 times now. We love the location and the facilities. The camp area is never overbooked.
Nice and close to the water for fishing. Great spot for families.

This campground is a real gem. It was our favourite one along our 7 days Sydney to Brisbane Roadtrip. Price is fair, the unpowered sites are in a beautiful, sheltered location and the creek was absolutely beautiful. It was not very busy during our stay and the amenities were quite good.

Cute camp spot down a 2k road. Not far from Nelson Bay if you want a day trip out. Nice vibes around the area as we stayed at the weekend. Does get busy but there is plenty of space. Toilets and showers were very clean. For the price this is a great camp site. There are a lot of long term people that stay but everyone seemed friendly enough.

Great park, $30 per night for unpowered, choose your own spot, toilets and shower blocks great, dump point and rain water tap, also bore water taps on sites.
Awesome pool, walking track is not very well maintained but still okay, dog friendly.

I was desperate for a place to camp on a cycle touring trip, having arrived off the Port Stephens ferry at 3:30pm during peak Australian summer school holidays (first week of January 2018). I called up from town and the lady was great - took my payment over the phone so I didn't have to rush there to arrive by 5:00pm. When I got there she met me out the front and was so friendly and in awe of my cycling adventure.
The camping area is set aside from the caravans and permanent cabins/caravans on a lovely grassy stretch. Lots of picnic tables and BBQ areas. The tables by Tilligerry Creek were a beautiful place to have dinner at the end of the day.
There are plenty of showers and toilets, all well-maintained. Laundry, kitchen area. I think the water was all rain water, so a bit brown, but I drank it without boiling or other treatment and I was fine.
It would be a great place for families with young kids (as evidenced by the many there) because they can safely play and cycle on the grounds of the site and meet other kids.

I stayed in an unpowered site for campervans.

This Holiday Park is at the end of a long road with oodles of speed bumps and a long way from any eating establishments, so I'd recommend making sure you're adequately supplied for the length of your stay.

This is a large Holiday Park with many, many "annuals" (somewhere on the order of 180 of 'em!), so was a bit intimidating when I drove in. But I ended up being the only campervan in the unpowered site area and during my one night stay I only saw two other people, so I had an extremely peaceful, quiet stay.

Facilities were well maintained and clean.

Bonus: I was there in May of 2022 and I only saw two mosquitoes (and I'm a mosquito magnet); One got me and I killed the other one before she had the chance. :-)

Beautiful little place, it's a combination of permanent cabins, powered and unpowered sites right next to the creek. We stayed in an unpowered site and had a prime location near the water. Facilities were clean if a little dated and the staff were lovely.

Pool was warm and the kids had great fun, biggest bonus was we were even allowed a fire (within a fire pit)... Will come again!

Lots of miggies and mosquitos - bring insect repellent!
