Lemon Tree Passage Motel

What a lovely place to stay. Convenient location, lots of parking available, considerate and helpful owner and staff. Comfy beds, large bathrooms ( newly renovated ) great showers, hot water no problem and GREAT water pressure.
We asked for s little bit if a late check out and Jason gave as more time than we even needed! I can’t recommend this place enough.

Motel was excellent. Check in was very smooth and convenient. Very clean, well organised, air conditioning was a huge benefit, TV was a good size, convenient fridge, and the bed was amazing for once. Usually the weakest point of motels is the bed but this one was great in feel and size, not too small for a couple sharing a bed. The bathroom was also quite spacious and neatly organised. When adding an additional night to the booking the process was completely painless and done fast.
Was able to get discounted drinks at the club next door using the keys which was also a nice bonus. EV chargers within short distance of rooms which is an added benefit to any EV drivers. Overall would definitely recommend/stay again.

We had spent a great family time at Lemon Tree Passage Motel. Rooms were super clean and bright, we accidentally left our computer adapter in the Motel, Jason kindly posted the adapter back to us with no additional charge. Thanks Jason! We would highly recommend to stay at this Motel.

The Lemon Tree Passage motel is one of the best we have stayed in. The new owner has the motel modern, spacious and the cleanliness is by far the best you will get. It's very handy to the bowls club to go over for a meal. On our recent road trip from Melbourne to Queensland we stayed in eight motels and this was by far the top of the range and very reasonable tariff.

My partner and I had such a fabulous experience with our booking and stay.

We had found ourselves very tired on the way back to the Gold Coast and needed a quick stop in for the night. It was 10:30pm and on the first ring answers, Jason. He was the most welcoming host allowing us check in just after midnight. He took payment over the phone and left the room and key organised and ready for us.

Saying we would recommend the hospitality and warm welcome we received would be an understatement. We felt this way all this out even having to see anyone. Check out was as easy as putting the key in the box and getting on our way.

I can not thank you enough. The room was perfect for the night , so clean and comfortable. The bathrooms are so clean and roomy and the tv feels like you are at the cinema.

The host were amazing to deal with, with great communication and commitment to ensuring we had a great stay even if only for the night.

The place is also newly renovated, clean, comfortable and practical to stay overnight.

Its just abit of a drive away from the main touristy destinations (so if you don't mind that then this is a great place to stay - great value for money).

We didn't mind the drive as our activities were focused outside of the motel (we were out all day through to the time we our heads needed to hit the pillows).

Room was clean and spacious with all new fittings including a shower with excellent water pressure.
A great place to head back to for a comfortable bed after a full day of activities and an early start the next day.
We didn’t factor in the 30 minute drive to activities in Nelson Bay but driving around the bay was enjoyable.

My husband and I celebrated his birthday at the Lemon Tree Passage Motel. They were so kind to write a personalised card for him and gave us Ferrero Rocher chocolates. The check-in and check-out processes were very smooth. Location was also perfect as it's near the pier and cafes. It's also a very clean motel with great amenities - WiFi connection was excellent. Thank you, Jason and Lilian for a wonderful experience at the motel. We'll definitely come back and stay here again!

What a beautiful ,pleasant ,clean ,bright, quiet and happy place to stay oh and the beautiful gardens with their passionfruit vines to their mango tree and all the other pretty plants well maintained. Jason was the nicest and caring person to deal with.. We honestly were so happy with our stay here . 1000% recommend..

We recently stayed with the team at Lemon Tree Passage Motel while in the area for a family wedding. Jason and the team were very friendly, welcoming and the rooms were of a high standard. The motel is located a short 500m walk to the passage with a range of dining options and a great little park for the kids. If we are in the area again, will definitely be looking to stay here.

We recently had a golf weekend at Lemon Tree Passage Motel. We have stayed here on three previous occasions and will return again. Jason and Lillian are fantastic hosts with no request ever being a problem. The rooms and grounds were spotless as always. Highly recommend staying here.

Jason was polite, professional and friendly. Meticulously clean room. Well situated motel near the local bowling club & easy 500m stroll to waterfront & village amenities. Motel grounds have a huge beautiful lawn. I was very impressed by the check-in process. Pay balance of your account on the morning of check-in prior to arrival, turn up & walk straight into your room without having to go to Reception. Brilliant! Never seen it before in all my travels. A very effective & efficient process! Jason was very approachable and provided quick responses to any queries. We were there for a wedding down the road but this motel would also be ideal for a relaxing, lazy weekend in a nice & slow-paced coastal village if that's what you're after.

Fantastic motel…. spotlessly clean, well-appointed amidst the most beautiful and peaceful gardens! Our stay, though only one night, was memorable and we’d definitely stay again! Brilliantly located next to the club for meals and very quiet even with its proximity to the road.

We just had a golf weekend staying at the LTP Motel. We have been doing this for 29 years and ALL 16 guys said this is the best place we have stayed in all that time. Jason was easy to deal with and made our stay a really great experience, I cannot speak highly enough about the rooms, the service and the communication. Thanks Jason for a great weekend.

What a lovely surprise this motel was for us. Jason had taken our reservation over the phone and made our arrival very easy as we had been travelling all day. Room was very modern with updated appliances and bathroom. Shower was great and the beds were so comfortable. Room was exceptionally clean and fresh. The Bowling Club is just next door with great food and service and member rates available whilst staying at the motel. We will definitely be back. Thanks again Jason!

One of the nicest little motels I have ever stayed in! The manager, Jason was an excellent communicator and made sure we were aware of all available facilities before we arrived. The room was spotless and included a microwave oven, kitchen sink, plates, lots of biscuits, coffee and tea, and large flatscreen TV. The premises were impeccable and quiet, although situated next to a club. Congratulations to the proprietor, Jason. We will definitely be back.
