The dining experience was truly exceptional, with each dish exceeding expectations. The kangaroo and pizza were particularly delightful, while my companions loved the fettuccine and sticky date pudding. Overall, it was a memorable outing with friends, thanks to the delicious food and wonderful company.

Blackbird Cafe provided quality customer service and delicious food for our wedding reception👌🏼The Cafe, set up the tables with our gifts and took delivery of our wedding cake. Every aspect of this service was professional and caring. Specialised Menus were printed for our guests in a lovely format. We highly recommend Blackbird Cafe as a destination of all occasions. Lovely waterfront cafe with lots of dishes to choose from.

If you'd like to try kangaroo, they have it here and it comes with delicious wedges! I loved the bbq meat stonefire pizza loaded with chorizo, and I also enjoyed their chicken tacos and selection of pastas.

Amazing place! Service, food, atmosphere and the view! A big thankyou to Morgan, he was very friendly, exceptionally welcoming and always checking in to see we were ok. Will definitely recommend and definitely return.

Joe and I would like to congratulate Julie and her team for a wonderful day on 13th April 2024 to celebrate my 70th birthday. The staff were fantastic especially Mimi, nothing was too much trouble, the food was first class and plentiful.
We will not hesitate to recommend Blackbird Cafe to our family and friends for their future celebrations.

Delicious food. I loved the Arancini balls and stone fired pizza. With amazing view! Such a memorable dining experience.

Great place to have a meal with a view! They've got great Australian food and the seagulls were definitely jealous of our meal!

We got the garlic pizza, sweet potato burger and the crab, prawn and lobster ravioli. The ravioli was my fave! The filling had great flavour and there was plenty of sauce!

Tried kangaroo for the first time! Great experience and in my opinion tastes similar to normal steak. I enjoyed the sauce that goes with the meat and the wedges were very delicious with a nice salad dressing. Summer splash cocktail was cold, sweet and refreshing with a slice of watermelon inside which I quite enjoyed nibbling on for dessert after. Accidentally ordered fries on top of my main as I didn’t read properly and see that kangaroo comes with the wedges.
I would definitely recommend to book a seaside view table beforehand as I wanted a Marina view but those were all reserved sadly. Overall great experience

After looking into several local places, decided Blackbird had the right mix of price, location, and reviews to try kangaroo meat. Was not disappointed! A unique experience and one that I highly recommend to any meat-eater visiting Australia.

Visited the Blackbird Cafe an hour after arriving Sydney. Ordered Kangeroo and Fish n Chips. Both were great. Ron was also very friendly and kind.

From the starter to the dessert, everything was simply outstanding. Every bite was absolutely delicious and left me wanting more. The service was impeccable and
evi was very friendly throughout the meal. To finish, I ordered a sticky date pudding that was the perfect finishing touch to my lunch. It was so delicious it practically melts in your mouth!

What an amazing time we had here. The staff were kind and very accomodating and the firework was fantastic. It was really busy down the street but luckily we can clearly see the view and just sitting while enjoying the food! *make sure you book at balcony, so you get the spot. 🎆

The food was so delicious! Noodle prawn 🍤 and prawn chili pizza 🍕 is must try! Trust me! And they have a kangaroo! My friends really like it it was his first time trying the kangaroo, it’s served rare but now he is a fan of kangaroo🤣
Oh and chicken snitz burger 🍔 and fettuccine Palermo also nice! Love it! Would definitely come back and go on weekend morning to try their breakfast menu

Yo, so I had my 21st birthday party at Blackbird. We didn't have a reservation, but they were super cool and managed to set up a table for 26 of us with a great view, all within a short time. The staff were all super friendly and helpful, and they really knew their stuff. They were great at suggesting dishes and drinks, and they made sure we had a great time. The food, service, view, and drinks were all on point, and they even had a firework show to end the night. Big thanks to the Blackbird team for making my birthday so special. I'll definitely be coming back again soon!

We had a wonderful night at Blackbird Cafe. Had the best table overlooking Darling Harbour and we watched the sun set too. Food was served extremely quick. I had the salmon and it was delicious. The staff were all very helpful and friendly too. We will definitely go again.

My experience at the Blackbird Cafe was amazing! The staff here is so friendly! The Piccolo I ordered was so so good! I highly recommend this photogenic cafe if you are around darling harbour.

Despite some of the staff not being particularly polite or courteous, the ambience is always warm and welcoming.
Food is certainly of high standard with the rib eye prepared to perfection. Pepperoni pizza another highly recommended dish, can't miss mentioning the salt and pepper calamari, all the food ordered at the table looked reasonably delicious.
Didn't try any desserts unfortunately, looking forward to another visit soon to give it a go.

After a change of plans on Saturday night, we were able to secure a last minute booking for a party of 25 at blackbird cafe. The staff were absolutely amazing and incredibly accomodating to us all. The food was delicious and the service was fast and efficient. We all had a great night and would definitely come back here again! I recommend blackbird cafe, the service, food and drinks so highly, a definite 5/5 stars from all of us!

Best (favourite) spot for lunch and dinner in the city! Must try their Fettuccini Palermo and stone pizzas, super hot & fresh. Staffs are extremely friendly and attentive, always take care of our table from start to finish. There are also lots of drink options, especially cocktails!! Will always stop by when visiting the city ❤
