Homestead Caravan Park and cabins accommodation Barcaldine

They are one of the nicest owners I've ever come across in my travels. I asked when I could check in and they said the cleaner is in now so anytime after that.. im so used to parks where they insist on 2pm check in for cabins, no if, or buts. The camp kitchen,, though not the biggest I've seen,, is one of the cleanest I've come across. I had the budget cabin,, it was more comfortable to sleep in than places I've paid double for. I slept the whole night,, its been years since thats happened.. I've booked more dates with them for the same cabin. Oh and finally, somewhere that actually provides half decent coffee for their cabins.

This is a great Caravan park, this is our third time here, staff are friendly, you are given a map and you go and choose your site then just go back and tell them which site you are on. There is a laundry, shower/toilets camp kitchen. Also at 4.00pm they have happy hour which someone comes in and sings that is quite good.

5 stars! I stayed here a week ago passing through for a night and left my AirPods in the room. I rang them a week later and they were holding them waiting for someone to call. They posted them to me the next day! Great service, great price, great rooms.

Lovely park, friendly owners, clean facilities. Have been here a couple of times and would recommend to everyone. Fees are very reasonable, discount for pensioners and weekly discount. They also give a discount on fuel! Will come back next month when they start the entertainment and tea and damper afternoons. They were very enjoyable!

Not peak time, so we had a grassy area to pitch our seats. We had a couple of little joeys with us, and they loved the lush green shoots.

DJ was a great host, and really took care of us.

Quite cheap but very pleasant. Loved the bacon and egg wrap in the morning. Good coffee, too.

Very pleasant park. Owners provide Billy's tea and a very nice date damper at happy hour. The showers are remarkable as they are an ensuite style with shower , toilet and vanity inside each cubicle. On the main road so can be noisy.

Thanks for your special arrangements. It was the first time I had visited this type of park. I had paid for the En-suite Cabin, available at a very reasonable rate. You have the most reliable management team, as there is no hidden charge. Overall, the site has not made me feel bored. There are shops at the venue, and as one of the enthusiastic shoppers, I love it. The food facilities are also fantastic for me. The availability of billy tea is one of the pros of your arrangements. It's a tasty tea that makes us feel refreshed. However, I had also sipped a cup of cappuccinos. I had visited your site on the winter season. However, during my stay, I had felt the ultimate comfort.Homestead Caravan and Tourist Park Barcaldine have all the essentials to ensure convenience to the tourists. I think of having another visit to your sites. The days spent there are memorable to me.

What a wonderful caravan park. Wonderfully price the cheapest caravan park and cabins around for hundreds of Kms. The owners are so welcoming and friendly and staff are great and will go out of their way to make your stay comfortable.
Very clean amenities and park and a short 3min walk to the shop. The free Billy Tea and Damper and entertainment is a must in the afternoon. The best Damper you will get in the outback and the entertainment is first class and can't believe it's for free.

After a very long tiring day driving, we pulled into this little park with no booking. The lovely friendly lady anticipated our needs, and a very friendly gentleman took us to the lowliest shady site (it was HOT!!). The amenities were basic, but clean and the camp kitchen was fantastic! Recommended!!

I loved this green, lush, well kept caravan park. There are lots of trees, fantastic, clean facilities, a great camp kitchen, entertainment each afternoon and meals several times a week. I extended my stay and will definitely be back.

It is thrilling to me when I have heard that your park provides this type of amusement. The performance of the singers and various performances at the night entertainment have kept me engaged. It was a brilliant little park, beautifully clean with large grassed sites, huge camp kitchen, great staff, 10 cabins, very well priced and if I'm honest I'd stay here before I stayed at Long reach again. Also don't forget the tree of knowledge in the center of town best seen at night.

My wife and I stayed for a week. Was the best week in a long time. Raj & DJ (the new owners) were absolutely the best hosts you could ask for.Great location to explore Barcaldine, happy hour everyday at 4:30 with live entertainment and awesome damper made fresh everyday. You couldn't ask for a better time. Will highly recommend to everyone we hear going that way and will stop for sure on our way back through.

What a great little caravan park! Nothing fancy, but it was clean, had many shady trees and lots of areas of green grass. And every afternoon they make damper and Billy Tea on an open fire and have a sing-a-long. Top spot, would stay again.

We stayed in our caravan. The bathrooms were clean, nice hot shower, camp kitchen was disgusting. Nothing nice about the kitchen at all.

Green grass, shady trees with a quiet location. On-site shaded external tables with fireplace and food delivered to your table. Really good. We will be back.

Pets are welcomed. We have visited your camping tourist park with our pet dog. I was, at first, concerned about the availability of my pet's food. However, you have made me feel relieved when I have learned about the dog foods found in this park. Thanks for the special treat for my doggie.
