Played 18 round of golf. I didn't play but the men and children did.
They had a ball on this really hot day. My Daughter In Law and I sipped Lemon, lime and bitters while they played. $58.00 for 3 Ad and 3 Ch.
Great day and took them about 45 min. Booked online simple and easy through their website.

A hidden diamond in Old Bar. We arrived close to the end of lunch time & the staff were most pleasant & accomodating.

Meals were fantastic, as were fresh juices & coffee good & hot.

Ah, the Club Old, a pub with more wrinkles than a sun-baked prune. Stepping inside is like diving into a warm bath of nostalgia, the air thick with the scent of stale beer and memories. The bar, a timeworn mahogany monolith, stretches on like a dusty highway, its surface etched with countless stories.

Now, I wouldn't call myself a connoisseur of schooners, but the ones at the Club Old have a certain…character. They're not the sleek, bubbly things you get at fancy joints, mind you. These are schooners with a soul, seasoned with the sighs of weary workers and the mumbled jokes of blokes who've known each other since childhood. They arrive with a healthy head, like a wave just cresting, and the first sip is a revelation – a crisp, golden nectar that washes away the day's dust.

And then there's the prawn meal. Let me tell you, mate, this ain't your supermarket sad sack swimming in a sea of anaemic sauce. These are prawns that have seen the ocean, plump and juicy with a hint of the brine still clinging to their shells. They arrive piled high on a plate, a glistening mountain of crustacean goodness, threatening to topple like the Tower of Pisa with every clumsy forkful. Each bite is a burst of flavour, a symphony of sweet flesh and salty tang.

The Club Old isn't fancy, it ain't flashy, but it's got heart, mate. It's a place where time slows down, where stories linger in the air like cobwebs on a forgotten shelf. It's a place where a schooner and a prawn meal can transport you back to simpler times, when laughter echoed through the bar and the world seemed a little bit less complicated.

So, if you're looking for a taste of the real Australia, a pub with the soul of a well-worn boot and the warmth of a grandma's hug, head down to the Club Old. Just ditch the sea shanty notions, mate. This ain't a Disney ride, it's the real deal, warts and all. And believe me, the prawns are worth every bump on the road.

Now, if you'll excuse me, I have a date with a schooner and a mountain of crustaceans. And who knows, maybe I'll even spin a yarn or two myself. Just don't ask me to sing. My voice makes cats cry.

Lovely family atmosphere whilst grabbing a bite to eat. Ordered the special fried rice, delicious. Just the right amount of beef & chicken with the rice.

Catered for all. Specials a hit with mouth, tummy & wallet! PA system pretty loud but so many oldies yelling at each other was obvious they didn't like wearing their hearing aids. Mini-golf entertains all - just need to start serving pints instead of schooners ;)

We called into Club Old Bar for a couple of drinks and some lunch and WOW the food was amazing. We highly recommend you stop here for lunch when visiting Old Bar.

Fantastic dinner, loved the ribs and wings combo. Club doing every right with cleanliness and social distancing. A must do when in the area.

Words simply cannot describe my experience. From the moment I walked in, I knew it was a restaurant. We took the seats which we had reserved, except they weren’t our seats, because they gave us the wrong ones. After speaking to the owners and relocating to the correct seats which we had reserved, we waited an hour and thirty minutes before our meals were delivered. As we were patiently awaiting our morsels, I was enraptured by the beige and lifeless atmosphere of the restaurant. When our food finally arrived, I was brought to tears. The taste and texture was simply indescribable. And by indescribable, I mean there is no words to describe the suffering I endured as a result of consuming it. I felt violently ill afterwards, and I feared that I had contracted food poisoning. I tried to ease my discomfort with the water they provided, however it was lukewarm and only contributed to my pain.
I feel that I should describe the coveted meal in greater detail. The chips were bland and had a rather strange after taste. I attempted to improve their quality by dousing them in gravy, which, may I add, had a dried film on top of it. The gravy did not help. In fact, I suspect that it hindered the quality of the meal more so.
Experiencing this restaurant has truly opened my eyes. Prior to dining here, I was under the impression that despite the struggles we face, life was beautiful, and it was a gift to be on this earth. Since dining, I have been wrapped in the thralls of depression and misery. All I long for is the sweet mercy of death to take my soul from this world. Every time I eat now, the food has a salty flavour, because of the tears flooding down my face and onto my meal, dampening it like my dampened soul. My wife and I had a meal at Club Old Bar last Saturday night, for the first time, and were 'blown away' Not only by the food, which was really excellent but also by Acoustic Beatz, a couple who played guitar and sang. They were awesome! A lot of people wanted to dance so tables were moved so that they could. Everyone was singing and clapping along and we noticed that the bar staff were joining in too. It was a real party atmosphere. Looking forwards to going for another meal but also to see Acoustic Beatz should they play at the club again.

Very quiet little town just outside Taree. Very picturesque. Roads need fixing as there were tons of potholes after the rains. But I have no complaints about the town itself. Nice people. Nice motels. Not much traffic. Very quiet.

Absolutely incredible new menu at the restaurant. Staff are friendly too! On our 6 night visit, we eat here 3 of the 6 nights.

Excellent! New facility. Modern comfortable rooms with Nespresso coffee maker. Right next to the bowling club. Good meals. Supplied with membership card for members discount. Only drawback is keypad entry, but definitely doesn't detract from the stay.

I greatly enjoyed the dish, "Pasta of Posideon" - every element was perfectly cooked and full of flavour!
The prices are reasonable, and the staff/service is always friendly and fast.
