Nice and relaxing spot. Quiet with some great wildlife and a great spot to throw in a line or kayak etc

Great little spot no toilet or shower facilities or bins so byo and please take your rubbish with you when you leave keep it clean for others to enjoy

Apart from the rain and the rubbish everywhere was a great little camp got myself a flatty from the river. 4wd only access

Beware of puddles they can hide big bog holes, I got my Subaru bogged here and was stuck for 2 days, no one around to give me a tow. Really nice campground though, secluded and natural.

10 Feb, crazy rain conditions, road flooding. Took our 4wd truck and needed it. Drove through atleast half a meter of water several places. Crazy amount of mozzies. We were just looking too spend the night on a free campground but we would have rather spend money for a regular campground or a rest area. Wasn't worth it. Lots of parts road is kinda washed away.

When is very dry and sunny I guess it could be a nice place. But until they fix the road you'll need a truck/4wd

Went there with 2WD toyota on a dry season. The road condition is poor, in wet season wouldn’t recommend 2WD. The place is nice and clean though the amount of mosquitoes is unbelievable. We went there at night after a long drive. Due to mosquitoes we couldn’t chill outside, went straight to the tent, slept and next morning quickly packed and left.
