Full Throttle BBQ & Cafe

A hidden gem in Beresfield. Only less than 30mins from Newcastle. We were passing the truck stops and accidentally found this restaurant.
A classic American style BBQ and burgers.
If you are a meat lover, I highly recommend this place.

Very busy restaurant at lunch time with lots of locals and a great atmosphere. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Excellent food with good sized portions. Prices are a bit high bit the quality was excellent. Well worth a visit if you are in the area.

Great place with fantastic food.
The only trouble you will have is deciding what to order first.
After hearing about how good their pies were, I decided to give one a crack and am glad I did.
It was the best plain meat pie I've had, and I've had a few 🤣
I can't wait to get back there for another feed.

I went down for the Wheeler Dealers meet and greet and had a great time! The staff were friendly, food was AMAZING! and overall a great place that I highly recommend and will be going back to regularly!

Awesome place for a pie and other food. Great pies sell out early because of this. Great brisket pies, burgers ,great variety of sauces and other smoking accessories. Good outside eating area. Will be back again when passing through. Good of street parking too

Absolutely unbelievable feed. Highly and I mean highly recommend going out of your way to go get a feed from here. It was awesome and the cold meat fridges have some meat lovers dreams in them. Seriously go and try for yourself. I live 40minutes away and I will definitely be going back again.

Great cafe, with amazing pies.
I would recommend brisket, gravey, jalapeno and cheese pie.

The food was very delicious but a little bit expensive. We have to wait for a while to be served. Unfortunately the meat pie was sold out. We would love to come back again.

I got the Brisket Cheeseburger.
Wow, was it good.
They have made patties out of brisket and then char grilled it again. You get a really good smoked flavour in the meat and it tastes great.
You get a decent sized burger patties which makes it a good sized burger.
Along with their large juicy pickles, cheese, mustard and sauce of you choosing.

I also got the side of fries and they compliment the burger really well.

Brisket burger had all the trimmings and what you would want. I found the customer service high although they become flustered when extremely busy, which is understandable. Portion sizes were generous and we left with a full belly.

Saw on NBN News, so went to try their Pies. Got a Brisket & Cheese pie, and a Brisket Cheeseburger with Fries. Damn delicious and fingerlicking good. As they say in the States, It ain't a good BBQ if you aren't licking your fingers afterwards. I certainly was!

Had breaky there, quiet sure it was the brisket, egg and bacon wrap. Was the best wrap I've had to date, next time I'm down from qld I want to come and try dinner. Couldn't fault

First time customer and definitely won't be the last. Was recommended by a truck driver at my work and he wasn't wrong.
The food is amazing. The prices are great and the staff are wonderfully nice.

I will be back up to try all there different choices. Not only do they have an amazing menu but you can also buy meat AND seasoning as well.

This cafe is surrounded by beautiful smells of delicious meat. In the car park, you might see a Volkswagen Beetle parked alongside a hotrod, a muscle car, or even a mid-engined Corvette.
Inside the cafe, the beautiful smells grow stronger, and you'll be waiting in a disorderly queue to order a meal.
If you do order a burger, the sauce will be of vital importance to your exquisitely experience. You should take advice from the staff on this particular matter.

Fantastic, big serves of tasty food. Then there is the massive range of sauces and rubs. Take a small cooler/esky as there are some great pre cooked pies, wings, steak etc.

Thank you for a great tasty meal. Very big Bouquets and Accolades to the staff on the day. We took our clients there and on the day their staff making the food were smashed with orders. They took it in their stride and managed to get us all served. Fantastic tasty food. Big thank you to all involved. The Staff need a payrise!

Best bbq we had so far! Both brisket and pulled pork as well as the sides were juicy and delicious. Will come back again👏

SO GOOD! Second time we've been, second time I've had the Texas brisket burger (sauce on the side) and it's just as amazingly tender, moist and delicious!

Well worth the drive up to Beresfield for these burgers (and dropping by the Maltnhops BrewHaus). The Full Throttle burger is massive and in this case, food beat man.

The meats quality is excellent and only one word can describe it "juicy". Highly recommended for travellers when having quick stops just like me.

Good choices were quite diverse. I had the pulled pork burger, which was really good.
Service was really good.
Great atmosphere.
