Unlike other caterers, Popup has this awesome tailoring of their menu dishes, so you'll always get exactly what you want with still the same authentic Indian flavours. I have gotten light catering done for two events at home (one was 20-24 persons and the other one was 12-14 persons) from Pop-up kitchen. Both have been a smashing hit with the guests. The grazing boxes are really good and super high on the taste factor. The presentation is good too, although you can pay extra to get it done professionally. I think some of the older reviews are from when this used to be a restaurant so not truly reflective of how good the catering is. 5 stars all the way.

Definitely highly recommend! I have been getting all our events catered from Pop up kitchen, and they have delivered every single time. So easy to work with, and they accommodate all my requests happily. The food is spot on, all our guests have always loved each item on the menu. Thank you to the team!

WOW!! I love ordering from their grazing boxes! Always the best food and service (and portion sizes!). Indian cuisine at its finest and they are all 100% made with proper ingredients.

This is by far one of the best, true to cuisine Indian corner in epping. The mutter kulcha is outstanding, just like what you get in Indore. On most Thursdays they do Indo Chinese specials with a combo menu that will definitely remind you of the combos served in Indian food courts. They maintain high level of hygiene, they serve the pani in sealed glasses for the pani puri. I highly recommend this place if you enjoy quality and pocket friendly Indian street food. Also do not miss their special lassi.

I had a catering from Popoup Kitchen for our House-warming party. I must say everything was delicious, amazingly presented and fairly priced. All my guest were super happy. I had Dabeli, Tandoori Platter, Matar Kulcha and Gulab Jamun mouse was show stopper. I will be definitely be back soon. Thank you Popup Kitchen. 🙏

The food tastes amazing! We placed a large party order for close to 20 people and single person had good things to say about the quality of the food. Highly recommend their biryani. This is one of the better Indian restaurants in Sydney. 5/5

Just had dinner at Pop up Kitchen, I can definitely say Best Indian food in the area. Authentic taste and great presentation. The staff was also very friendly, they suggested us few dishes and turned out to be great. You must try their Kulchas😋

We ordered food for our Diwali event from POPUP kitchen. The food was excellent and the presentation of entrees was fab. The best was the dessert gulab jamun mousse. The thing I loved about the owner she was friendly as well professional. Thank you for making my event a hit. Everyone loved the food.

We ordered food from pop-up kitchen for my son's birthday party (chicken sandwich, mini burgers, samosa, tikka etc). Everyone absolutely loved the food. The taste, quality and presentation of food was highly appreciable. Thanks team. I would happily recommend to all.

I had my baby shower at pop up kitchen and it was such a wonderful experience. Preeti and the crew worked so well in putting together a fabulous spread of entrees, main course and dessert and not to forgot the delicious must gorgeous cake. I would highly recommend pop up kitchen for private gatherings and functions. The food is delicious and there are so many options to choose from, loved every bit of it.

The best Indian food I've had in Sydney. Authentic but still unique. Loved the butter chicken, which was creamy and flavorful. The goat curry was cooked to perfection, the meat tender and blending in perfectly with the curry without excessive fat. Also tried the samosas (what a clever size!) and the dahi baray - yum! The supporting chutneys were so aromatic. And the absolute family favorite was the maska bun. It was delightful. Will try it with the in-house chai next time. Great job, team!

Been here twice already. Its a new restaurant, started up in May. The staff are super friendly and helpful and exercise care in keeping customers happy. They are still experimenting with their menu so expect a set of fixed items on their menu as well as new items each day and/or Saturday.
The place has a nice vibe and has seating options as well. The food is delicious and I would recommend to try all their street food options. Situated on the busy main road, its preferable to use the public transport to get there. I would go there again....

Excellent food and service. Can’t be happier that this opened in the suburb. Tastes are untampered and authentic. The butter chicken is one of the best I’ve had. Pakoda platter seems never enough, even with such huge portions they give - super yumm. Quality and service is unparalleled. Highly recommend for all the desi cravings - even if it is for a chai catch up or planning your desi house party. Way to go “pop up kitchen” team. Keep up your amazing work! Good luck!!

Preethi from popup kitchen was very kind and she suggested me great ideas for the menu and the appropriate quantities. Guests were very happy with the food and the highlight was that the breads didn’t turn stretchy even after a couple of hours of bringing the food home. Do reach out to them with your requirements and they will surely oblige and give you the best service possible. It’s a 5* from me.

Great food, very friendly staff and dont mind waiting for my order because they provide fresh breads and other items from kitchen to keep the food experience at its best. Also great thing about is they let you test the curries before you order so that you get exactly what you're craving for.
Would definitely visit again this place.

What a gem of a place!
Not your run of the mill Indian restaurant in Sydney. I couldn’t be any happier writing this because the western subs finally have an Indian restaurant which is brave enough to serve real Indian food.
Their curries are not for the weak hearted, they’re hearty, they’re spicy, they’re REAL.
I’ve had pretty much everything on their menu. Here’s 3 ways you can grab yourself some ambrosial desi food:
1. Dine in: it’s easily accessible if you take public transport but if you’re driving, you’ve to struggle to find parking as the restaurant is located on the cumbersome Beecroft road. Use the Coles Epping Carpark.
2. Take-away: it’s so meticulously packed I’m genuinely impressed. It’s quicker to do a take away than order it on Uber eats. I happened to speak to Ms. Preeti, the owner while ordering takeaway on the phone. On a busy Friday night she was kind enough to have an engaging conversation with me without rushing me and that’s how you keep the patrons coming back.
3. Ubereats: I think ubereats in general is becoming more expensive with the increasing demand. They charge $8 for delivery. The restaurant is literally 4kms away. And that’s almost the price of a small food item I’d order from here. So that’s a big downer.

As for the restaurant, grab anything and you wouldn’t be disappointed. My favourite has to be cholley bhaturey, butter chicken and the indo- Chinese combo platters they do. That butter chicken is spicy but authentic. I’d recommend Pop Up kitchen in a heartbeat. Keep the food coming guys!

My only request is, please do lunch service too. Uber eats is only available post 4:30pm. I’ve ordered brekky a couple of times in the past but haven’t been able to do so again. I’d love to be able to order lunch as well.
