Australia Post - Epping Post Shop

Every time I go to the Epping Post Office, the staff have been patient and helpful. Just today, I chose a parcel that was a tight fit for its contents and the lady double wrapped it to ensure the package was sealed tight.

As for all the negative reviews, take them with a grain of salt. This is a small post office with four counters but it services a high population area with significant growth in dense apartment blocks. There is almost always a long queue; the staff are standing every moment, every day. I believe they are overworked and understaffed. But they get the job done and wish you a pleasant day each time.

What more can you ask for?

Local regular here. I’ve personally never had problems with this place. The workers were always nice to me. Today, the lady patiently waited and complimented my clothes, nails, etc while I was struggling to get out post codes and more. She was the sweetest woman ever. She did have to tell off two customers because they were impatient and were trying to get ahead of line. I understand that people get frustrated because they are understaffed but honestly that’s not their fault. It’s not like they intentionally make their customers wait in line.

I went there many times. Especially for parcel collection, photo and Identity card. The staffs are always very polite and do their work very sincere. When I take photo they show me more than 3 times and get my nod then only they taken the print.

I have never had a bad experience here! I come at times that I know will not be busy, to avoid waiting in a long queue. I have been served by multiple workers & they are extremely polite. I have often come in with a multitude of questions & they never hesitate to provide me with all the relevant information. This is something I respect about their staff. They are always willing to help.

If you treat people with respect, they will reciprocate. At the end of the day the workers are human too!

Staff have always been friendly and helpful. It can get busy at times, but not the staff’s fault. They do their best to facilitate customers as quickly as possible.

If you ever go to this post office, make sure you ask for Jenny, she's been looking after me and my tons of parcels weekly, always has a smile on her face and makes sure I get the best of the services offered, this woman is truly a gem and so hardworker.
Some comments on here need to chill out, specially the racist ones. People are trying their best in this trying times, be patient!

Often understaffed but remain calm, friendly & knowledgeable. They patiently provide many services from passport photos to banking etc.

Despite of bad reviews, my experience here is good. Yes, the wait time is long but then if there are 2 staff members serving 20+ people, it will take time. And they do answer your all questions and help selecting the right parcel. Plus, they have photo service which makes further delays. But this is not in their control. They provide a good service.

Never a problem. The people complaining here need to get a grip. Yes, I have sometimes had to stand in line, sometimes out the door, but that's hardly the fault of the staff themselves. I've seen some of the nincompoops the staff have to deal with on a regular basis through their working day and quite frankly, I admire the way they handle them without doing their lolly. Some of them really deserve the Basil Fawlty treatment but instead are helped to get through their transactions with a minimum of fuss. 5 stars from me (30 years an Epping resident).

Not sure what people are sour about, but then again there will always be sour people. Yes, this post office can get extremely busy at times, but that happens at all post offices. I've been served by all the staff there, past and present, and have never experienced any disrespect or unprofessionalism, then again I don't disrespect people. I've also lived in Epping for 33 years, and our family has never not had a package arrive at our front door and we have a front driveway over 30 metres. However, if we weren't home, we'd be left a calling card under our front door and the item would need to be collected from the post office directly, this is the case with all items that cannot be left safe or require a signature upon delivery. Furthermore, the delivery drivers don't work for Epping or any post office, they work for Australia post, feedback needs to be given where it can be actioned. It's illogical to get upset at a branch when the driver isn't even associated with it.

Update - staff have changed since my last review and are a lot friendlier as well.

Got charged the Large Letter postage for each card I sent ($2.20 instead of $1.10 each), despite my card not meeting the Large Letter dimensions. Make sure to check what you should be paying as you may be overcharged.

Despite all the bad reviews here. My experience here has always been postive. You do have to pick a good time to visit as it always queue up all the way out of the door.
Try 10am-12pm if you’re local lol stop complaining people

I have received exceptional and extra-ordinary services from Netal. I had the most complicated application but Netal made it seem so easy and was extremely helpful at the same time. I would certainly recommend her services.

I Cannot believe all the unreasonable negative comments from people I have always had good service at Epping PO. I do make sure I am not going same time as everyone else. If you choose to go 10:30 on a saturday then expect to queue!

Best Australia Post in Sydney. The staff are always super friendly and helpful, go above and beyond and I will drive out of my way (now living in another suburb) to bring my business deliveries here because I know they will take care of me.

I only really go here to pick up parcels I've missed, but I've always found the staff to be friendly and efficient. Plus there's usually next to no wait if you get in early!

When I tried get a new passport for my daughter, the staff quite friendly and helpful.

I always redirect my parcel to parcel collect this shop. The staffs are so nice. This shop also has too many stuff for selling. They are as seen tv shopping. I love it.
