Cann River Bakery

Stopped by on the way back to Melbourne. Got a delicious chocolate milkshake that was defiantly needed for the long the drive back. Staff were super friendly and even offered us food instead of throwing in out when closing so + 1 for helping the environment. Would highly recommend if stopping by for a yummy pie or sausage roll or a delicious and refreshing milking

I stopped here with 3 kids on a 9 hour drive. It was worth the stop. Friendly, understanding, Melbourne level coffee (I don't live in or near Melbourne). Great atmosphere and service with a smile. Well done Cann River.

So fresh and delicious. Reasonable prices. Really enjoyed my sausage roll and pepper steak pie. Friendly staff. Clean shop and beautiful location.

Perfect place to stop. Lots of nearby parking, plenty of seating indoors and out. Pepper steak pie was the right amount of spicy, great pastry held together well. Sausage roll was flavoursome good combo of meat and veg. Pineapple cream was a delight sweet light creamy goodness. Staff were very friendly

Stopped off on the way to Lakes Entrance. I have been here many times however went in for lunch with a work colleague.
Ordered a pie & large sausage roll, with 2 drinks & a coffee.
Was so generous & only charged us for the food & the drinks were on them. Then one of guys came over with the yummiest piece of cake(no charge) for us.
We were flabbergasted with everything! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A lovely place with wonderful friendly service.

Great pie.
Had a beef and mushroom pie. Mushroom tasted fresh and the sauce was really good too. Beef was slowly cooked and tasty.

Really excellent sausage roll and pies, fresh focaccias and toasted sandwiches.
All great flavour selections.
A great array of sweets including muffins, slices, cheesecakes and packets of homemade biscuits and variety local lollies. Cute little honey shop too!

Our usual stopping place when travelling down here.
Stopped in foe a sausage roll and a coffee. I had the spinach and ricotta roll, it was delicious. The cappuccino I had was the smoothest coffee I think I've had. The service was very prompt and the Lyrebird across the road was delightful.

I have had many, many iced coffees all around the world but the one from Cann River Bakery in May 2024 was the best. I think the fellow who made it was named Archie (or similar).

This is the place to go for a great pie and sandwich. None of that weird stuff. Just a great egg and salad or a salad roll.

Coffee is on point ☝

Had a chat to the staff and they are all young local kids. Good to see a place supporting jobs in the community.

FYI if you're a kiwi their pie pasty is perfect.

A must stop if you need a top up.

I got a pepper steak pie and it was so good I went back for another.
Got a mushroom pie and it was even better!
They were busy, but the service was fast and reasonably friendly.
There is a nice park across the road to eat too.
If I went through Cann River again, I'd definitely stop again.

Stopped at Cann River Bakery for Breakfast on the way to Pambula. As always food and coffee delicious. Had a Vegetarian Sausage Roll which was delicious. Would definitely have again. Definitely a place to stop at for food

This bakery has everything, the sweets are great, the only issue I had last time the premade roll I purchased was quite soggy I would recommend taking the time and getting a fresh one made up.

Best pies we had over 10 years. The one with mushrooms was so could I couldn’t believe it! Great quality pastries as well.

Cheese and bacon rolls were delicious! My son said they were the best he's ever had. The pies were full of flavour too. Great place to stop over and have lunch!

Love this place! Amazing sausage rolls and great coffee. The boys are a lovely bunch of lads too.

Damn Daniel, this lime milk shake was perfect. Consistency half way between milkshake and thick shake, stuff that’s hard to come by. Chicken avo panini also delish

Fantastic Toasties, pastry, coffee and service. Coming home from Mallacoota Cann River Bakery was a pleasant surprise, the guys went out of there way to look after us, thank you.

STOP HERE!! Great bakery in a little country town? The steak and mushroom pie was amazing, real steak in it and so tasty. The sausage roll the kids had was huge and also got a big thumbs up. The coffee quality was some thing you would expect in a expensive Melbourne cafe. Seating inside and out, very reasonably priced. Well done to all the staff!
