Swinburne University of Technology

Swinburne University has a great civil engineering course. The subjects are developed with assistance from industry making them all very relevant. In addition to their helpful teaching staff which often go out of their way to assist students with their issues makes for a great university. I would highly recommend Swinburne. I should also mention that the photos taken are of the Hawthorn campus.

I am studying the Graphic Design course and I swear it is THE most magnificent course. I have learnt so much and the teachers are great. I am recovering from cancer and studying online gives me the time to rest when I need it, and work when I'm feeling good. I feel like studying the course was the best decision. There are other unnecessarily expensive private courses out there, but this course is amazing. The interface actually works and everything runs smoothly. Canvas is wonderful to use. I actually have a great time studying this course, it's not boring hard work but fun and enjoyable. It also improves my mental health studying something so fascinating.

I was invited by the Australian Human Resources Institute and Swinburne University to provide a presentation on LinkedIn to students on 5/9/18. Mike Hannaford was extremely welcoming and around 80 students attended and were actively engaged throughout the presentation. Great to meet so many enterprising students and lecturers.

I visit Swinburne as a examiner, was ok for the first visit locations good.

As I can see overall wonderful people's over there.

This is the former school office building. 1908 on the gate tower refers to the founding time of the predecessor Eastern Suburbs Technical College. Swinburne University became a university in 1992. Did not expect to be so young. The name of the school adopts the surname of the founders, George and Ethel Swinburne. George Swinburne was Minister of Agriculture in 1904. George and Ethel Swinburne were both born in England.

O'week. Maps up everywhere, booths out, nice to see people getting back to normal.
The system for handling the StudentHQ queue was great, I didn't need to wait in place. Staff were proactive in keeping the queue moving quickly.

Been studying here for the last 3 years, and I'd rather be here than any of the other universities. Not a big party scene if that's what you're looking for, but it's a great smaller campus with plenty of facilities (brand new art building, great IT rooms and plenty of study space), great services (careers offices, medical clinic, disability and financial assistance) and always something going on around campus from snow days to the weekly union BBQ and their free breakfasts. It's a nicer, smaller university if that's what you're looking for.

I come across with Swinburne University, by chance while checking around courses for science. Haven't been to school for the last 31 years, you looking from where to start. So, I enquired, and suprise I've started Certificate III for further education. Very welcoming, understanding to what want to to achieve. The class is with different ethnicities and backgrounds, and cultures. The part I like mostly. 🇦🇺🇬🇷💪🤘

I currently study online through Swinburne and am having a great time! The online resources are easy to access, and the learning advisers and support staff have consistently been incredibly helpful and supportive.
I'd recommend online study through Swinburne to anyone considering it. Just be aware that you need to be focused and motivated, as it is so easy to get distracted whilst on the web!

Approximately 1.5 weeks after graduating, I received a call from a LinkedIn recruiter for a CRT company. I got the job and have since been permanently attached to a local school, which has been incredible.

I got accepted to a position as a full-time primary teacher at a nearby school that I had been visiting regularly as a CRT. I’m fortunate to have a lovely and supportive team!

Called Swinburne Uni to assist me in my application process and Laura was extremely kind and insightful, helping me with all of my questions.

It was a privilege to have completed my BEng Hons Robotics and Mechatronics from this world-class university. The faculties are great are facilities are way better than the top universities at my home country. For Mechatronics engineering Australia is highly-recommended
