Lake Lascelles

Absolutely lovely spot to camp for as long as you think you need. Very popular especially at peak times.

Stayed 2 nights. Really nice place, free camping around the lake. Swimming and waterskiing. Short walk to the town. Had a nice meal at the community hotel.

Love this place. Peaceful with all amenities around. You can do some fishing as well but not sure what type of fish.

This place is a gem for camping. It has a lot. A credit goes to the volunteers that look after the facilities. Powered sights $20.00 pn. Free camping. Donations for use of facilities showers, toilet, washing machine.

Beauty little free-camp spot by the lake and a walk out the back swamp tracks and motorbike. Fishing and boating. Top spot!!

Our favorite camping spot, $20 power sites, & free unpower sites around lake, donation amenities, camp kitchen, washing machine also basic accommodation for hire. Fishing, canoeing, water skiing. Walk into town.

Another, close to perfect camp-site. A powered site o the of the lake with nearby rustic (and clean) amenities. We met many new friend around the campfires we lit each night. Could have easily stayed here several more days.

Love this area, although it can get abit windy, lots of shady trees, facilities are fantasic in the main area but the other side could do with some work, short walk to main street, fantastic bakery, butcher and iga store, didn't get to the pub for a meal but will be on the next trip for sure.

A picturesque camp ground with a choice of either free camping (by donation) or with power at $20 per night. Showers, toilets, washing machine & water on the spectacular, pristine waters of Lake Lascelles, where bird life abounds. For the non campers there are cabins also. Walking distance to town. Town also has a dump point.

Wow beautiful surroundings, birds everywhere, plenty of unpowered sites and limited powered sites, lovely lake, clean toilets and showers. If you need exercise then you can walk around the lake 🏞😉

Is a great spot to free camp on Silo Art Trail or book modern 'silo' & other accommodation taking linen etc. There are also power sites available. Packed at Easter 2018!

This is a great place to free camp, excellent facilities. All they ask for is a donation.
The towns people are very friendly and welcoming. It was great to walk and chat with other's set up around the lake.

Awesome free camp at back of lake. Can be a bit muddy if been raining.

Free camping, clean toilets, hot showers, plenty of bins. Gorgeous view over the water. Close to town.

Lovely setting around the Lake and is great for free camping plus the have toilets and hot showers , they ask for gold coin donation which is really nothing

What an amazing spot to stop and breath... The lake is beautiful, the amenities are amazing and the volunteers who make it happen Thank You. We have seen a bit of negative posting but the fact we have stayed the last 5 nights free camping, 2 meals at the pub, fill up in fuel at the servo, and a few trips to the IGA has meant local businesses get to stay alive.
