I have been with R&T for almost 23 years now, and have experienced wonderful service from them. I even added Extras cover a few years ago, and my claims were processed asap. I called them just now to find out if sleep therapy was covered, and my call was answered in hardly 10 minutes by a wonderful customer service officer...so good! ...unlike many financial institutions where one has to wait for over 40 minutes and be entertained by ridiculous music!!!

RT Health has been proactive in understanding my family's health requirements, and provided us with the best health solution for our needs.

I phoned R&T and got through quickly to inquire how much I'd be getting back for some dental work. I have the premium cover with all the extras. The lady was very helpful and was able to tell me exactly what I wanted to know and this done in September 2022. I had a good experience unlike some others.

I went to my appointment today (after much deliberation).
Like most im not a fan of the dentist however after one consult and total clean i came back and addressed my treatment plan given from my first consult.

Both visits have been incredible!! The staff are lovely and i felt at ease the whole time. Even with needles and the works i was so happy with everything.

Good work to the receptionist, dental nurse and of course the doctor himself 😊😊

They have paid all my claims so far, without any fuss. That's exactly what I would expect from a good health fund.

Recent dealings in regard to my 87 year old mother and what is a minor claim have been horrendous. Calls not returned, emails not responded to for days. Different staff asking for additional information. Due to hrt age & health can’t even change funds.

RT health up until recently have been easy to deal with however it appears that something has gone seriously wrong with their customer care. I called them on Monday in an attempt to pay them as my direct debit didn't go through. I waited for sometime on the phone and then requested a call back. 24 hours later I had still not received any contact from them, I attempted to call again and was confronted with a recorded message that simply stated "my call could not be processed ", this message simply repeated. I emailed them yesterday (Tuesday) in an attempt to gain contact from the customer service line, I received an email this morning (Wednesday) stating they would respond to email in 24 hours. I am now currently waiting for them to take my call, at present have been waiting for around 13 minutes. This is less than ideal to say the least. I am unsure if I can think of an organisation that is less responsive than RT health. It's strange, I cannot explain how a company can go from having a great interface between customer and company to being basically unable to be contacted. I would avoid this organisation, the space is hugely competitive, there is no reason to tolerate this level of service.

waited too long for the phone to be answered about 3/4 hour so i left my number no phone call

20 minutes plus so far waiting for somebody to answer the phone. Ridiculous

I've been a member of this fund for 20 years. In the last few years this fund has gone downhill. Emails aren't responded to, and despite paying my 2023 year's sub. in advance ($3,140 odd), they rejected my claims because they hadn't bothered to process the Authority to debit (submitted 2 weeks earlier!). Then they failed to deduct the further 1 months payment I had to pay to get my claims processed! Their website is no better as it is down most of the time. The service (not) provided by this health fund is really DISMAL and in my opinion, they don't deserve to be in business.

I have been with RT HEALTH for over ten years wanting to emergency via ambulance because I could not breath and had chest pains. Stayed in hospital for approx a week had my surgery done to save my life only to be told a month later that the whole procedure is not covered due to the fact the item code . Ten years of cover down the drain and now I'm out of pocket I excess of 9k. What a joke RT HEALTH TAKE OUR MONEY.

I rang the 1300 number and the customer service person just hang up on me. She is so rude. She keep arguing with me that I have been paid for my claims and yet I don't see any money in my account and this is my third time calling. It is so frustrating the way they treat their customer. For two years during the lockdown, we did not made any claims. Now that we are using the services, they make thing very difficult and make me feel like beggar. Not happy at all.

Disappointed with this health insurance provider. Expected so much better with service regarding the claims process. Very hard to communicate with. One of the worst claims experience I’ve ever had.
