Karlie was brilliant. So helpful with giving us a map and a whole list of things to see and do to fill our time. The rooms are old however, really clean which is all that’s really needed. The restaurant has home cooked meals which was what we were after. Highly recommend and honestly giving the 5 stars purely on service from Karlie and her staff.

Manager was lovely and very accommodating. After expedia/flght centre overcharged and neglected to add that we had our fur baby with us she waived the cleaning fee ( $30 happy to pay). Room clean,tidy and comfortable. Not many places inBroken hill allow dogs so thankyou desert sands. Would recommend.

The manager Carly is super helpful and friendly. She recommended we visit the Living Sculptures at sunset and looked after our dog while we went there as dogs are not allowed in the national park. The rooms were extremely clean a good size and very reasonably priced. I highly recommend staying there especially if you have a fur baby. Very pet friendly would definitely stay there again 😊

The receptionist was so friendly and helpful, love the carefree relaxed atmosphere, will definitely be changing to this motel on my work trips, you can sit out with other tradies, have a beer and a ciggy without being yelled at. stayed over night with my best friend as we were caming back home from Queensland, as our rooms were clean and very tidy too. As I love the environment friendly products that was in the bathroom, as the bathroom kept clean and tidy as well. Very cheap to stay as well, as the pool looks tempting but sadly never gotten the chance to jump in oh well.

Modern, very clean rooms and the most comfortable beds of our entire road trip! Our host Donna was very lovely and made sure we were well looked after, including tips about local attractions. Would definitely stay again!

Lots of good quality coffee and tea, reception excellent. Rooms been upgraded except for carpet. Shower was excellent, The bed was dynamic. So comfy. I'd stay again 👍

We had the pet friendly room which had 1 queen and 3 single beds in the 2nd room. Comfortable bed.

Close by to good restaurants and park for the dog to run around.

Delighted with my two night stay. Rooms were clean and well appointed (spa was wonderful)and beds were comfortable. Staff were really lovely and very helpful. Food in the dining room was delicious. I would definitely recommend this motel. I will return for sure. Many many thanks.

They have thought of everything, hand cream hand soap and shaving cream dispenser next to basin . Shower gel, shampoo and conditioner dispenser in shower ,awsome, roll down blinds outside window that makes it dark and quiet love that, they have Foxtel free movies, and the room is elegantly decorated and comfortable . And pet friendly with friendly staff, I highly recommend this place to anyone who is wanting a good rest after a long day driving like me this place is relaxing

Very clean pet friendly room ...Darcy I think her name was on the phone was so lovely and had our room ready as we were traveling. Room smelt so good and a very decent price! Would definitely recommend and will stay again ...thanks guys

Really clean comfortable budget stay. Plates and cutlery supplied. Dispensers in bathroom for shaving cream, hand wash and body lotion. Reception staff very friendly. Pub next door for a meal. Would stay again.

Super helpful staff, had to cancel the booking last minute as we could not fly out of Sydney due to the bush fire smoke, refunded complete amount. We made it successfully the following day and enjoyed our stay.

Great value for money. Large family room with everything you need. There is a pool, BBQ and free laundry. The room is clean and comfortable and the hosts are friendly and helpful.

Accommodation was fantastic. It was clean and well serviced. Staff was very friendly and provided lots of information of the area. It was within walking distance to Foodland store and the cafes and pubs.
