Golden Lotus House Chinese Restaurant

This place had delicious old style Chinese food. Awesome spring rolls; crispy and tasty, delicious duck very tender, sweet & sour pork is nice, beef & veg good, curry chicken the best and combination seafood fresh & amazing. Overall all lovely and great fried rice. Nice drinks, also good & hot Chinese tea👍. Great atmosphere, comfortable sitting, friendly staff and alright service needs improvement, thanks guys😁👍. Recommended here😋👌.

We arrived in Broken Hill tired and hungry.
The only restaurant nearby that opened at 5pm was Golden Lotus House.
The food was excellent and plentiful friendly service and the restaurant is very colourful.
Too tired to sit down we went to our Red Earth Motel and ate it there.
Highly recommended.

Delicious food, fast and friendly service. We got takeaway, restaurant wasn't particularly full, quite a large restaurant too. Attached to a motel, made it a little difficult to find at first. Worth the effort though, great food.

Great Food!
Every time I come from Adelaide to Broken Hill, I always come to the Golden Lotus Room. The service is attentive and the food is plentiful, nice big plates! Management is professional and friendly. They even remembered my name after almost a 2 year absence. Well done!

Yes shared a great nite with mates for after a dig day of lawn bowls prices were exceptable food was great not sure we had to go upstairs so it could be difficult for some with issues

Went Tuesday 1st June 2021. Excellent quality meals, size exceptional, great price. Yes service not perfect, but mate the food is that good. We will be back...Thanks guys♥

It was a very busy Easter Saturday night in Broken Hill....most restaurants were closed. The 2 waitresses were run off their feet....however BEST Chinese meal I've had in years. Simply delicious!!!! Vegetarian options were excellent. (No vego entrees....but main meal made up for this.)

Just got take away tonight and she is such a gem.
Food was beautiful. Enough for dinner tomorrow night.

Awesome! A little pricey but well worth it. Entree King Garlic Prawns followed by delicious Szechuan Chicken, Beef Black Bean and Spicy Salt Squid, very impressed. No need for Soy on your Fried Rice that is for sure.

every time i attended here i also get chicken and corn soup, that could be the last meal i have before i die and i honestly would be okay with it. tastes amazing and a favourite would also be the rice and lemon chicken. i never leave hungry.

Best chinese in Broken hill. They upgraded interior by putting new blinds and now ambience is more modern and cleaner feel. Most of the dish in the menu taste great.

Traditional 60s Chinese dinner. Great fresh food and atmosphere.

Regular Chinese plus Thai curries.good meals, good value, quiet atmosphere.
Stairs Upstairs are a little steep, some people might struggle.
