The Imperial Fine Accommodation

Thoroughly enjoyed our week long stay at “the Imperial”. Transported back to another era with this historic building and every turn was a revelation. Generous and very comfortable rooms added to the nostalgic feelings of sharing this unique venue. Loved every minute there and being on the first floor balcony with views over Broken Hill just added to the experience. Very well located with an approx 400 metre walk to the nominal centre of town with restaurants, pubs etc all around this area. The Imperial was just another highlight of our memorable visit to Broken Hill. A must do for all.

Walking distance to all main street venues. Rooms are very spacious and furnished beautifully. Definitely would stay here again. Shared kitchen and dining room and lounge room are bonus features.

Had a really enjoyable stay here. The room was clean and well appointed with heating/air con and all the amenities you could want.

The hotel is quiet but within easy walking distance of all the pubs and restaurants in town. As lots of people have mentioned, Cath is a fab host. She was full of helpful suggestions to make the most of our time here, super friendly and welcoming and genuinely want to make sure we had a great stay.

If you’re coming to Broken Hill I would absolutely recommend staying here.

This old world hotel is extremely charming and has tonnes of character - a world away from the basic and plain rooms you get from the chains. The rooms are lovely, and there’s a huge balcony which is perfect to watch the sunset with a drink. It’s also a only couple of minutes walk from most restaurants and bars but still quiet at night.
Cath was a brilliant host and made us feel very welcome and was full of recommendations for our stay. Would highly recommend.

Our stay at the Imperial was outstanding. The rooms were immaculate (with ironed sheets!) and the staff were lovely, which added that extra special country feel. Close to the Main Street and a beautiful old building. The gardens were stunning and it was the softest grass I have ever walked on! Would highly recommend to anyone staying in broken hill. We will be back again!!

Stunningly beautiful accomodation! From the outside of the building to the lovely furnished rooms we were very impressed. The pool was a hit with the kids, and was very relaxing to sit by. The history of this place is interesting, and our hosts Cath & Craig were very accommodating. The Imperial should definitely be on your list to visit!

Don't tell anyone about this gem of a hotel. Cath is personable and happy to help make your stay enjoyable. There I go telling you more that I should as next time I try to book the hotel, it will probably be booked out - it'

We recently stayed at the " Imperal fine accomodation" in Broken Hill. Our 4 day stay was an amazing experience with our hosts Craig and Cath seeing to our every need. The room, bed and facilities were very comfortable and breakfast delicious. The proximoty to the main street means you are only 200 meters to the centre of town. The history of the town , buildings and local attractions were conveyed to us as Craig and Cath's families have lived here for generations. A wonderful experience not to be missed.

What a charming place this is, to spend a few days including NYE! The room we had was clean, cool, comfy and quiet, just perfect for relaxing even on a sweltering 40+ weather. Breakfast on the balcony was a treat and the privacy of the pool area was fantastic! Thanks to our hosts Cath and Craig - great job to you both!

We had a comfortable and relaxing stay for 6 days at this historic and loving cared for hotel. We were also loving cared for despite the current difficulties with Covid 19 - Cath is such a helpful and friendly host, who anticipated our every wish. We particularly loved the access to the wide sunny verandah in the mornings and evenings. Perhaps a few welcoming touches out the front and a couple of hours in the garden might make the place more appealing. One day maybe even a tea-room downstairs? Thanks so much.

Outstanding stay over New Years in Broken Hill. Rooms were clean and comfortable, the pool was amazing and the view from the huge verandah was the best place in town to watch the nye fireworks. The owners really turned it on for us. We’ll be back!

Amazing heritage hotel in the middle of Broken Hill with incredibly friendly staff and wide range of rooms to accommodate any kind of traveler, free breakfast is provided in the kitchen and there's a billiards room and a common meeting room and the sunrises from the balcony are beautiful. We would highly recommend staying here. The rooms are beautifully decorated with a comfortable bed & a hot shower. The owner is very helpful and friendly. Loved our stay and if passing this way again would definitely stay here.

What a majestic ex hotel. The hostess was lovely and the room was excellent. Situated just off the main drag it was quiet and comfortable.

Stunning, full of grandeur and so comfortable. The staff are great, it's just such a warm and inviting venue. I will stay there every time I am out there.

We cannot rate this hotel highly enough..spotlessly clean..charming period style rooms and the most generous kitchen requirements we have encountered..the owner was friendly and helpful in all ways..location is quiet as it's around the corner from the main road...far enough to avoid main road traffic noise..the wonderful wrap around verandah provides a great place to eat breakfast..(all provided for)...or relax in the afternoon with a glass of wine..excellent accomodation in all ways

Grand Old style Pub that has be turned into Accomidation , stayed in the unit with access to the elevated veranda.

Such a grand old hotel, it was like stepping back into the grandeur of the Gold Rush. Beautiful gardens, excellent facilities and wonderfully warm hosts!

Amazing old busildibg. Rooms have been restored I. Period. Definately a must stay when going to Broken Hill on a comfortable budget.
