The Barrie

They hosted a great USYD talk. Great space and vibe. I couldn't find any information on their page about food, so unfortunately we had to eat before going. But while there, I took a photo of the food menu to help the upcoming visitors.

Why is no one here? I get that it’s hard to see from the main road, but this place deserves to be bustling! The bartenders are amazing, I had a creative twist on my espresso martini, made with caramel and gin, which tasted even better than the normal!? Also Kendrick’s diss track at 5pm wow, everybody come visittttt

Superb new bar with live music in the evenings and DJs at nights. Welcoming atmosphere, charming manager-owner Chris and friendly professional staff. 5 stars! Highly recommended!

Thanks to Chris and the gang at The Barrie for putting together our virtual corporate drinks. Really appreciate the hard work and great customer service I received from start to stop. The cocktails were delicious and can't wait to drop in at The Barrie to sample some more!

Keep an eye out for the green neon sign, The Barrie, illuminated from the side street off Regent Street. Low dim light bar with moderate space with a good range of cocktails and beverages. Nice service staff with a chilled atmosphere.

Tried some classic cocktails and off the menu, all were pretty good. Very good playlist and vibes. I would come back when the band is playing.

What an amazing bar to open in Chippendale, great drinks, sick aussie beer and wine and a meat and cheese menu thats already expanded to include the most luxurious "ham and cheese" toastie I've ever had. Couldn't resist the sandwich long enough to photograph it sorry...

Absolutely delicious cocktails with a key detail to the presentation! The venue has been refurbished since Freda's shut down and reminds me of old school charm with the leather booths and mood lighting present. Very chilled atmosphere and the bartending staff were extremely attentive/non pretentious. Going for a night cap alone and enjoying live music in a wonderful venue such as this to end a Tuesday night will definitely be my weekly thing now :)

An absolutely FANTASTIC venue - From the moment you step in, you're hit with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The staff are not only attentive but delightful to talk to, armed with delicious cocktails. The live music perfectly ties it all together and really complements the whole place - by far one of the best bars I have ever been to!

One of the coolest bars in Sydney. Great atmosphere, live music and DJs most night into the early morn. Staff are fantastic and so are the drinks. Definitely won’t be disappointed coming down for a couple after work, a date or kicking on on a night out.

Hidden bar with very nice cocktails and live music on Friday and Sat until late ( after mid night)

The bartenders put so much effort into making my cocktails that watching them alone was an amazing experience. Very good music and vibes. Service was exceptionally attentive and friendly. Highly rate it. Would love to go back.

The Barrie. What a great little joint! An excellent menu of unique cocktails, and live music every night. What's not to love! Super friendly staff too. We'll be back here, for sure!

Beautiful place to come down for a well crafted cocktail. Terrific service and attention to detail. Unique drink items make the Barrie a memorable experience. I will be coming back here next time I am in Sydney.

This bar is a great little hideaway bar in Chippendale, with a cosy atmosphere. The cocktails are excellent and delicious!! looking forward to going there again :)
