If you like cheese then you'll like Buffalo Dining Club. Good, hearty italian dishes with plenty of cheese. The guys in-house are casual but very attentive. The wine selection isn't large but what is there is nice.

Great tasty food. Friendly and non pushy service. Relaxed and cosy vibe. The cacio e Pepe served in cheese wheel, zucchini flowers, burrata and bread and gnocchi were all fresh and tasty. We stayed there for a long time and weren’t forced out. However the ventilation in there was quite poor and it was very hot and stuffy on an otherwise a cool night

Buffalo dining club is a charming space tucked around a corner away from the hustle and bustle. We started with the beef carpaccio and stuffed zucchini flowers. For mains, we shared the cacio e pepe and the Italian sausage, spinach and chilli tagliatelle. Having the cacio e pepe mixed in the Pecorino Romano cheese wheel at our table was a special piece of theatre. All of the food was incredible. An all round great experience.

My best friend and I came here last night and the food was incredible. The staff were freaking amazing and the atmosphere was such a vibe.

We ordered the zucchini flower for entree and the Spaghetti Cacio É Pepe for our mains.

We can’t wait to return again!!!!!

Until yesterday, I didn't realise this place existed, but I'm glad I made the (Google) discovery.

Italian food to me is a collection of a few, simple key ingredients that are prepared and cooked to perfection, and this is what I experienced at Buffalo Dining Club.

My entrées consisted of charred corn and potato scallops. These were the best potato scallops I've ever had, as they had a lovely thin batter that was crispy on the outside.

My main course was the famous Roman dish called "Cacio e Pepe", and the dish was finished on a wheel of Pecorino Romano cheese. The spaghetti was cooked al dente / firm, but had a lovely bite to it. The flavours were delicious and brought me back to my visit to Rome.

A special mention goes out to one of the owners, Peter, who provided service with a smile, and made sure my friend and I felt welcomed and well looked after.

Highly recommended visiting this place if you're after a proper Italian food fix.

Great food and drinks, and service. Must try Cacio E Pepe, it comes with a big cheese bowl to mix and finish up. Can't wait to come back there again

The gnocchi are like fluffy little clouds of perfection… they are too good… I could eat multiple servings of them everyday without ever getting sick of them… In fact everything was wonderful and delicious and I can’t wait to go back again!

Mouthwatering Italian food to rave home about. The pasta here is served very al-dente, as it is in Italy, and is perfectly seasoned. You have to order the caccio e Pepe, but everything on their menu is delicious. Highly recommend to take advantage of their specials - the Fratelli is a must-try (light and crisp savoury donut with truffle honey and Parmesan). Next order the scamorza - caramelised grilled aged cheese that stretches for miles and melts in your mouth. Then ask for the house made chilli sauce to pair with your pasta. The staff and owners were lovely. Dear ‘Pedro’ and Marcello, we will be back!

Definitely a ‘must go’ for Italian/pasta lovers across Sydney. The place itself is actually really small with around 10 tables (at least that we could see). With that said, it doesn’t feel cramped at all, so the atmosphere is nice.

As far as the food is concerned, absolutely on point. Some the best I have had. The menu is small, but every dish seems to have been perfected. Yes, they also serve the pasta directly from a cheese wheel.

The staff were also really friendly. Perfect score.

Buffalo Dining Club in Sydney is a true Italian gem, worth every bit of the 40-minute drive from the Northern Beaches. Marcelo's warm, personalized welcome and the effort to remember returning customers add a special touch to each visit.

The restaurant's atmosphere is cozy and elegant, a perfect backdrop for their outstanding Italian dishes. Each menu item bursts with flavor, showcasing high-quality ingredients and culinary expertise. The wine selection is equally impressive, with options that beautifully complement the food.

In summary, Buffalo Dining Club offers a delightful dining experience with exceptional food, great ambiance, and top-notch service. It's a must-visit for Italian cuisine enthusiasts in Sydney.

Delightful dining experience in a charming location in Darlinghurst. I opted for the Ragu, which was exceptional and evoked fond memories of my travels in northern Italy. The staff were engaging and pleasant to converse with. This place is perfect for a solo meal or a romantic date.

Loved this little place.

The food is heavenly and although the place is small the buzz and atmosphere was excellent. We sat at the bar/counter.

We had their significant cacio E Pepe spaghetti as well as the gnocchi. We started with the garlic bread cigars with cheese and honey and the burratta.

The food was excellent. Super delicious and went down well with some red wine and aperol spritzer

Quaint little italian restaurant - lovely atmosphere, with delicious food. Loved the richness of beef carpaccio, and very much enjoyed the charred corn, gnoccho fritto (with cheese and honey), and cacio e pepe

The set menu for big groups was exceptional value for money, the service was great and every dish was amazing with the cacio e pepe being the highlight. Have been recommending to all of my friends!!

We started off our night by ordering the Fresh Buffalo Mozzarella plate with a side of San Daniele、olives、honeyed carrots and corn with chilli. While we enjoyed the plate overall、the stand out dish for us was the corn、all of us fighting over who got to finish the last morsel.

For mains we ordered the Gnocchi and Cacio e Pepe. The gnocchi was nice、though I felt could have done with a lot more cheese considering the venue、however there was nothing at all to fault with the Cacio e Pepe. The dish proved that simple food done well is sometimes better than anything else. Brought to the table in a pecorino cheese wheel、the waiter then scraped bits of cheese off the wheel with the tongs before tossing the pasta through it and serving it into a bowl、adding an element of theatre. The flavour was exquisite、a lovely blend of pepper、 salty hits of cheese and the freshness of parsley all brought together by olive oil. I was hard pressed to share even a single bite with my dining companions.

For dessert we all shared a slice of tiramisu. While nice、it was my least favourite dish of the night.

Overall we had a thoroughly enjoyable dining experience topped off with excellent service. The only downside being that the mezzanine style layout made for a somewhat loud environment.

Been coming here regularly since they opened. This time we took the broader family and they loved it. A bit disappointed with the smaller menu, not sure if it’s temporary due to covid. Hope so. Amazing cheeses and pastas. Basically ordered everything on the menu and nothing disappointed.

Finally used my voucher from TimeOut Sydney's #foundongoogle competition winner and got to try their Signature Dish Cacio E Pepe. It was as expected tasty and enjoyable. We also had the equally delicious Buffalo gnocchi in Napolitana sauce. Lunch was finished off with an indulgent serve of Tiramisu. Lunch was great!
