Had a great experience here after Christmas visiting the window dressings (12 dogs of Christmas) and getting caraciture on the kids floor. This place sells everything, including food on one of the lower ground levels. Very nice shopping experience

I was in the ladies department looking for a dress. I had the most amazing Camilla angel Gabriella it was such a beautiful experience I left with two dresses because of her. If you want amazing customer service and love Camilla go she her. Fantastic at her job she even offered to charge my phone. That’s going over and beyond for a customer in my opinion. She was so helpful even my friend tried on dresses. The experience was so amazing I went back the next day and bought my friend the dress she tried I was helped by the Camilla angel Emma she to was a pleasure to deal with. This really is what customer service should be.

Loved this store! Has everything you need, and each floor is well organized. Very pleasant shopping experience. Top floor has kids department, with face painting to keep the children occupied while parents can shop in peace / help one kid try on things.

I wish there were still such nice department stores in America….

I’ve been a patron for couple of decades now, but my last trip during Christmas was made special by this staff member named Mohammed. Great customer service and support offered during my visit. He helped me select a bag. But it was his demeanour and polite attitude that made it worth the visit. Well done mate.

My friend Wendy had an appointment with the Personal Shopping Service this morning to select "Mother of the Groom" dress for her son's wedding.Kate was her assistant and she was absolutely wonderful.She made my friend feel so at ease and has already chosen some dresses for Wendy to try on (from a previous conversation).The private shopping/fitting room had comfy chairs so we could sit down and discuss what style my friend preferred and colors.We were served light refreshments as well.The whole experience was friendly, relaxing and so much fun.Kate took all the stress away and my friend chose a beautiful Montique gown and purchased it,after trying on other options.Kate explained all the other services associated with the purchase .We were both so impressed with her service.

Amazing department store that plays up its impressive heritage. Did you know Queen Elizabeth II visited this store on her first visit to
Australia and Dior hosted their first international show outside of Paris here too! Great kids section on level 9 and my wife likes to get her hair blow dried with a view of Hyde Park here too! Amazing fresh produce, cafes and fresh juice bar and more on LG!

This was a truly delightful Christmas experience. The window display was so much fun and quite magical. The kids level was out of this world. There were amazingly immersive zones where you could feel a part of different worlds like the 100 acre wood, star wars universe, marvel and Disney princess castle. The staff were all very helpful and knowledgeable.

Fantastic department store with everything you need from a good sale item to something ultra luxurious. Huge bank of lift that run super fast. Store is very clean and all staff are super helpful and friendly. Nothing is ever a issue. Had zero issues navigating the store in a wheelchair. For street wheelchair access to the store the entrance on market Street is the one you want to use.

Love coming here, especially during the holiday season. The store is beautifully decorated and gets me into the Christmas spirit. They carry so many brands, so I can do my shopping in the one place.
Staff here are very accommodating and approachable. I came here last week and a lovely girl at the makeup counter colour-matched me and helped me pick out a foundation.

The location of this place alone in the centre of business and retail district, easy to find and everything is accessible by a short distance walk. It is close enough to some big shopping area like Myers and most of the luxury and ultra luxurious store like Zara, Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Prada, Chanel Coach and many more.

Beautiful store. Sure they stock premium items but there're plenty of reasonably priced products to choose from. They are great value for their quality. I like buying from a trusted store.

Took my niece and nephew to see Santa at the Sydney Elizabeth St store yesterday and had an amazing time. The Santa experience was the best we’ve ever seen and the kids had a blast. Well done to the team who brought it all together. A huge shout out to Sebastian in the kids department as well who did a complementary caricature of the kids as Princess Belle and Luke Skywalker. They absolutely loved it. Can’t wait to see what’s in store for Christmas in 2024!

I was looking for a nightgown; went to the Chantelle’s area, at 3PM I was told by the Simone Perele employee that there was nobody able to help me so she recommended I walk to the check out counter where I met Bianca. What a difference she made to my very frustrating purchasing experience; she asked what I was looking for, went out of her way to help me. She brought four different nightgowns, I selected one which I purchased. A huge thank you Bianca; my question to David Jones HR is ‘why aren’t you employing people in their 40’s or over who care to deliver customer service??? If it wasn’t for Bianca my rating would have been a one out of 5.

I recently visited the Sydney city store for Saturday brekkie and shopping in the food hall. The cafe has a good basic menu and my scrambled eggs were really excellent. If your looking for foodie Christmas gifts you’re sure to find something here. DJs has a comprehensive range of both sweet and savoury packaged and fresh foods and you can design your own Christmas hamper. The quality is really excellent. I’d say the layout of the hall could be expanded by removing the small kitchen appliances section, but other than that it’s definitely worth a visit. Get there before 11am as it gets really busy.

“Helen Kaminski” store locates at the level 1 in David Jones department store. And it is a part section of multi stores at this floor.

Displayed items are limited with popular items, so checking items you may want to buy should be worthy with staffs.

Staffs are professional and helpful.
Products are fantastic and elegance as expected.

The flowers were fabulous this year at Elizabeth Street DJs

Spring has arrived with flowers in the air. DJs has bloomed with spring flowers for years. It offers fantastic fragrances, as well as delicious foods. The cheese bar offers the best gruyere I’ve tasted. And the hot chocolate is a treat. Men’s clothing is a little wonder, and I’d go back for the range of Levi’s clothing. Don’t forget to mask up.
