Club Chef - Surry Hills

Today I came to buy a uniform for a baking course I will be attending at tafe. I phoned up and spoke to (I believe her name was) Michelle. She was very helpful.
I travelled in to buy a uniform. When I turned up there was already about 5 people there. I was served initially by a man there. But when I said I had phoned up, Michelle took over and served me. She asked me a few things and then started stacking what I needed for my course. They had 3 good sized change rooms. Once we worked out my size Michelle gathered up everything I needed. Then we sorted out a few other things. I also asked about the knives. Michelle knew a good deal about them, and when they didn't have what I was looking for, Michelle suggested another store that might have what I was after. This was an amazing experience, fantastic service. I definitely suggest you visit this store.

I’m a regular customer here. Service and staff are excellent. Products very reasonably priced and good quality. Wide choice of knifes for any budget! And also all those little chef things you need!

Exceptional store, properly stocked and easy to get to. Sure you can get some bits cheaper online, but not at this level of quality or service. Highly recommended for nearly everything from tools to uniforms. If you are just starting out or are already trade certified and looking for equipment stop here first.

Look. As a person who works in a kitchen, I tend to move more towards those kinds of tools.

So, to begin. Situated off Elizabeth St, it is not the easiest shop to find. That is the only con.

It may not be a huge shop, but what they sell is more than adequate for any kitchen worker.

Jackets (Chef and nurse uniform). Knives. Utensils. Other tools like blow torches.

They had everything I need each time I go there.

Staff were not only friendly, but extremely helpful and passionate about their job.

Prices are fair. Probably less expensive than even some lesser known kitchen supply shops.

People always told me not to shop at Club Chef. But I do as I please. Now, I don't go anywhere else.

I recommend this place.

Quality range of chef and kitchen products in this store located right near Central Station. Cameron was very helpful with a level of service rare these days in retail.

The customer service was truly outstanding! The manager was friendly and professionalism, had an honest support, she show a lot of knowledge and advised for me as a student and getting myself ready for it! She demonstrate a positive vibe toward me she made me felt supportive and happy! And said she was happy to assist me as a customer what the best suitable recommendation for myself and didn’t have to apology for her staff experienced as their trained! But all the experience I felt really great about the experience :)

Friendly staff, good products

The service from the young woman is great. She is knowledgeable and helped me easily find what I wanted to buy for work. There is paid parking around the area, otherwise just catch the train to Central station and walk up. It is a 5 minute walk.

Best staff and customer service in town! Passionate people who are knowledgeable about the products and willing to share their love for kitchen stuff. Best part is that, they give you the most genuine customer care! Highly recommended and definitely I will come back.

Great shop with a wide range of kitchen knives. I'm using Club Chef's Classic Santoku knife and I love it! And the customer service is excellent too!
