I am not a wine connoisseur but the lovely woman suggested a Rose that sounds terrific and I look forward to trying it on the weekend,,if I can wait that long!

Nice wine store in the local area with the biggest range of wine I have seen. The price range from those cheaper through to some quite expensive and certainly appealing to the wide range of tastes. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable and have returned on many occasions.

It is so fortunate to have an institution like Prince Wine Store heading up north to Sydney to spread the love. Especially if you like the adventure to go beyond your usual quaffer - Shiraz, S/Blanc - this is the place. I would have already left my home country if I did not find this place and talk to Sarah. Just make sure you leave your girl/boyf/wife/husband at home.

Covers all regions of France - Loire Bordeaux (actually a bit weak here but who cares we have homemade Clarets from SA) Jura L/Roussillon and the one that starts with B and C. Italian varieties are all here too from North to South.

But the real strength lies on good Spanish wines - Sarah from Galicia (north-west corner of Spain) - knows them all and make sure you ask for recommendation. Her knowledge spans also exceptionally broad and deep across all regions of France. And she loves & drinks them all too so she knows all the good producers…the store is lucky to have someone like Sarah really. And not to mention my annoying request to find these bottles at the back…Anyway it is just a joy to drop by in these stores in a bright sunny or miserable rainy days.

They have unmissable tasting events so keep your radar on.

A smaller selection of really good wines, with a really knowledgeable staff. Lots of international wines and champagnes I haven't found elsewhere. They do good tasting sessions too, often on Sundays. Not super expensive either, plenty of lovely tipples under 20 although 40 is about the average. Good assistance with functions too.

One of the best selections of local and imported wine in Sydney, with everything from everyday drinking bottles to rare collector wines. The Saturday tastings are a great way to learn about and try new wines, and the staff are friendly and knowledgable.

My experience: the most exhaustive collection of wines I've seen in Sydney so far. And love the fact that you can find pretty good deals on 20 or 30 dollar bottles as well as a selection of unbeliavable French champagne and Italian wines that might cost a couple hundred dollars per bottle. Multiple weekly wine events including regular free tastings on Saturdays, weekday evening tastings, wine education series, and well established big events such as the signature annual champagne tasting. A must visit for all wine enthusiasts.

A great bottle shop with huge selection of wines from all over the world. They always helpful and often do a tastings. Definitely worth to visit. It used to be a warehouse but now is full of wine from bottom to the top.
