Lotus Dumpling Bar Circular Quay

Came specifically for the gluten free dumpling options. Both delicious and so nice to have gf options for steamed dumplings. Nice wine list and lovely staff. I came for lunch just as they were opening. Happily recommend here.

Impressively delicious food from an upscale chain restaurant. I only had dumplings and drinks, but enjoyed both immensely. Santiago created some great cocktails for me at the bar as well as helping me discover some nice South Australian white wine. Beyond the dumplings, I can't say much, but the two women next to me ordered a huge variety of menu items and seemed just as pleased with their meal as I was with my dumplings. Definitely worth a visit!

Lovely food, great location matched by even better customer service. Both the manager and the waitress were both super friendly and welcoming, which always elevates the entire experience when dining out. Thank you!

I find the lotus chains of restaurants fairly consistently good.
This one was a little hard to find in the new quay building, and a bit quiet during lunchtime. Service was ok enough, but not quite as topnotch or enthusiastic as the one in town hall.
The place is also a lot smaller than the other lotus restaurants and split across 2 levels.
The food however did not disappoint and everything was delicious.

I loved this place. Service was friendly and food was delicious. Small setting so I’d go to another lotus if you had a big group. We were 5 and had a nice table in the corner

Best dumplings in Sydney in our opinion, and Santiago is the most talented and nicest bartender / mixologist ever. We asked him to create two different cocktails for us and we were delighted with the outcome. Best to book in advance because the place is small. We will definitely come back soon.

Owner manager great guy staff seems a little new. But, dumplings were excellent, pork belly and HIGHLY recommend the stir fry veggies w garlic sweet chilis.

We picked this and didn’t regret it! We ordered the fried chicken bao buns, the crispy prawn & chicken mushroom dumplings m, and the wok fried rice noodles with beef- ALL of them were super delicious! A lot of times noodles at other restaurants are overcooked but these ones were perfect! Make a reservation if possible because they do get busy especially right before anything at the opera house

Just so delicious food, everything was excellent!! So far the best place where I've eaten in Sydney. I definitely suggest!!

What a wonderful way to finish a day. The setting is very good, they make good use of the streetscape view and seating is great. Good and staff are first class. We had to change a couple of dishes from the set menu due to an allergy, and the floor staff and chef took it in their stride - no fuss, no bother. The chef made some substitutions for us and they were excellent - thank you Chef.
Value for money and first class in every way. Highly recommend!

Love the lunch menu 96 dollars for two. Food was.more.then enough for two. The salmon was so so tasty that i started to.replicate it at home

The pork Szechuan dumplings were also amazing but eaten too fast for a photo

We had a lovely dinner and drinks for a friends birthday, seated at the bar. The staff were lovely and engaging, the food was delicious and we had a great time. The $65 tasting menu was generous and we were all well satisfied at the end of the night. The venue is small, so probably not great for bigger groups, but our group of 5 enjoyed the cozy vibes.

We will be back!

First time at Lotus QQT, the food was absolutely amazing, highly recommend the squid, 10/10 and all the dumplings were amazing. Good wine list too. Will definitey be back.

We had the $95pp set menu. Every dish was delicious and the service was amazing. The whole team looked after us so well but we just wanted to give a shout out to L!

Love the gorgeous decor here, not to mention the warm, friendly welcome and attentive service. I had the steamed shitake dumplings and a generous serving of rice noodle with angus beef. Delicious! I could have shared my servings easily with someone else but luckily was eating alone, so I didn't have to :-)
I'll return to this gem.

We just love this little Lotus Dumpling Bar. We took our fiends from Queensland and we all had an amazing evening. The food, attention to any request and service from our wonderful server, couldn’t have been better.
