He really knows what he's doing. I was very nervous before going because my hair is kinda difficult to deal with. But with some basic sample photos he did my hair perfectly. I went home and washed/blow dried my hair very casually and it's still very pretty!

The decorations and the quiet atmosphere in the salon is a huge plus if peace and chill is your thing.

Will definitely come back.

The guy told me to turn the sound down on my phone. My bad, remembered the sign, and it's my fault for forgetting. He's quiet and reminds me of my son who's on the spectrum. He's done a terrific job and fast cut. Come here and obey the rules, be polite and you'll get terrific service.

The best and cheapest woman haircut ever, that’s why I never go to other hairdresser. Showed him some pictures, I received the exact haircut like in the picture. I recommend you to have picture if you’re keen to go to this hairstylist💫

Guys I dont understand why so many haters in the comment but the barber is actually an artist, he is easy to communicate if u keep polite and quiet and just tell him what u need perhaps with photos. I did this and every time he did so well like all that I want. So plz stop being haters and keep being polite u will get ur pretty style

While on vacation overseas in Australia, I decided to get a haircut, and it turned out to be a fantastic choice. The hairstylist here did an exceptional job, leaving me thrilled with my new look.

A good place if you’re looking for quality haircut (low price is bonus) - I don’t think “accommodating service” is what they offers nor my top priority - you can always go to another place for that.

GREAT haircut (although wasn’t quite what I asked for) - SUPER fast, like, unbelievably fast.. stupidly cheap ($20 🤯) .. however… super unfriendly - almost weird. 😂

If you don’t mind the quirky guy, it’s definitely your go to place. 🙌🏻

I went from very long hair to very short. It took quite some time and effort, was charged only $25 and I love my haircut. Excellent person and excellent haircut. Thank you. Cannot recommend this place enough

The hair salons I normally go to were fully booked these days and I really wanted to get my haircut. So I searched if there was any good review hair salon in CBD, then I found Joey C hair. He was an amazing hairdresser that doesn’t talk much but very professional and efficient. I just simply told him that I wanted to get rid of the bleach parts of the dry ends, and he helped me to maintain the perfect length and hairstyle that suits me. I was also surprised by the price like I never ever got charged that cheap in Sydney (due to my volume of hair). I will definitely come back to get my hair done next time!

If you're the type of person who wants to have a gossip or debrief, save that for when you see your mates.
And don't think your place in line will be held when you come back, that's against the rules. Or expect to be able to call to see if there's a long wait, there's no phone. You just have to chance it. It's a rush. 😉

I went in for a haircut after my lunch at Home Thai and I have to say, I have finally found my Go to hairdresser in Sydney! he doesn't speak much but his work is brilliant, he asks you want you want and cuts away!! He cuts with details and precision and I love my hair! will be coming to him for haircut from now on! :)

The hair stylist is very professional with clean cut and quick time. He cut with excellent service and make sure it is done neatly. The price is absolutely very cheaper than others. Very recommended!!!

I had my first haircut at Joey's at the very end of 2020 and it has been the most invaluable discovery of the year! He is a real professional who knows his job to perfection and doesn't overcharge you like many others do. In fact, it is close to impossible to find such an affordable hair salon that at the same time delivers impaccable quality in the CBD. Most highly recommended!
