I have been a Seventhwave customer for almost 4 years. During the first two years, in addition to being a customer I also worked there and considered this place my second home. They say that a business is a mirror of the owner and Seventhwave translates everything that James is: a person with immensely unique knowledge about coffee, wine and cooking in general, who does everything he sets out to do with excellence; a roaster like no other - it's no coincidence that he sells the best coffee beans I've ever tasted; a huge, generous heart, who treats his employees as friends, always willing to share knowledge and learn too - BraSil is spelled with an S, no matter what language you use hahaha - sim, brasileira e com orgulho ;)
It feels like I stopped working at Seventhwave yesterday but it's been 2 years and I still buy the coffee because it's simply the best I've had in Sydney!
This review is a thank you to James for everything he taught me, for his patience and also for his friendship over these years! It is also a strong recommendation for you to go and visit Seventhwave, because everything there is extremely well done: the teas are wonderful, the cakes and toast are unique and delicious, and the coffees are the best you'll ever taste in your life! Oh, and it comes with homemade (like everything there) biscuits which are incredible!
Visit Seventhwave, I guarantee that like me, you will fall in love for this place!

Wow the best coffee I had in Sydney. Very fairly priced as well. I got Iced Latte with House Blend. Don’t be shy to ask questions and follow the owner’s recommendations, you won’t regret it.

Flying jaguar my current favourite. When I make coffee at home for guests they always comment on the richness. A true blind test. Love popping in here to get my coffee on the way to work, I use far less each coffee (aero press) than commercial brands, so it lasts longer. Very economical if you consider the price of a cup of coffee. They are always happy to answer questions, definitely recommend. (The decaf is amazing too)

Lovely little cafe. Coffee is fab. We also buy our beans here, and the guys will grind them for you free of charge if needed. Staff are always friendly and welcoming. Definitely worth a visit if you're in Eveleigh. 😊

Best coffee in Sydney. Bought some Costa Rica beans for bench press and they were outstanding. Highly recommended!

Could be the best coffee in Sydney, it's not overdone with latte art or anything.

I'm caffeine sensitive and it's one of the only coffee that I can tolerate and not feel terrible.

The service is very nice even if you're just buying coffee, which is really the only thing they serve.

It's fantastic coffee. Arguably the best in Sydney. Those little shortbread cookies are also amazing. The owner seems like a great bloke who is dedicated to making amazing coffee and providing excellent customer service.

Just discovered this roastery and it's a place serious coffee drinkers will appreciate. They serve great speciality coffee that you can enjoy on site. They also sell bags of beans for home brewing. Highly recommend a visit if you're in the area and need a caffeine hit.

Who would have thought opening a coffee roast warehouse within Australian technology park. The location is subtle and almost non-noticeable as you walk down Cornwallis street. By chance I happened to see a person sitting outside and an opening in the brick facade warehouse that said espresso brew bar and coffee which made me curious. With bigger signs outside, people will draw my attention especially when everyone is walking so fast to work nobody looks. The interior is what you’d expect from an industrial warehouse. The space itself is simple with a few tables, the coffee bar in the middle of the space and either sides are zoned off for storage of beans and roast equipment. The coffee taste great and barista offers you a small cookie on the side. Pricing is a bit steep in my opinion, for a large coffee cost $4 which is the same size as a regular cup (double shot) and for a regular is a smaller cup at $3, because it’s specially coffee It’s an exception. Perhaps the size of the cup is designed for the perfect taste. They also don’t offer loyalty cards. Verdict: good coffee, friendly staff, and love the industrial setting.

Two years ago when this mob set up, you could shoot a gun down the street and only hit unlucky welfare recipients. Now, you're more likely to hit a commonwealth banker...ill leave it to you to weigh the merits of when was better to discharge your firearm.
Seventh wave should be only about the coffee...but it's more. Much in the same way that Beyonce is. Yep, their coffee is just about as good as her voice, and their home baked shortbread is pretty much worth the reasonable price of their coffee alone. My 1 a day rule was broken as I passed by...sorry doc, but I think I have a new habit.

My favourite coffee in Sydney. It's superb - so much so that it's ruined coffee served anywhere else. Furthermore, the venue offers a relaxed environment and the staff (and especially its owner, James) are wonderfully helpful and friendly.

This coffee bar and roastery is just off the side of the Australian Technology Park in an inconspicuous location, noticeable via a small sign on the front of the warehouse space.

It’s a wholesale and retail space, operating from a warehouse. They roast their own beans and sell these retail as well as making specialty coffee to drink in store or to go. It’s a basic set up, but who needs more when it’s all about the coffee! From Espresso, house blends, single O, Cold brew, filter, to milk based.

Warm, professional, and knowledgeable staff who go out if their way to talk about your coffee preferences and produce an amazing cup! I had a lovely latte with nice subtle flavours and as the staff mentioned, I really didn’t need my sugar in it! What a great cup of coffee! Even better, you get a free almond or pineapple cookie to go with it.

They also do specialty teas and there’s plenty of varieties to take your fancy.

Absolutely worth making the trek to find it.

James is an absolute legend, ask for a recommendation if you’re buying beans they will hook you up based on your brewing method. I’ve been buying my beans here for the past 3 years, can’t beat the quality and price.

Coffee in house is naturally top notch, try a filter if you’re into black coffee.

When I think of Seventhwave - think 'Secret coffee paradise'. Ok maybe a bit much... no I don't think so. GREAT coffee, great staff, good vibes and a very welcoming environment. Give it a go if you are around the Eveleigh area for sure.

This is hands-down the best coffee I have had in Sydney. Not only is the place warm and welcoming, but the staff and owner so clearly care about their trade and are driven by providing the best quality product. I highly recommend this place to anyone - expect a nice relaxed environment free from pretentiousness, with friendly service, and the best coffee you’ll get in Sydney!

Some of the best coffee I've had anywhere. Amazing flavour profiles. Old school Italian style. Great toasties. Cool warehouse. Next to South Eveleigh tech Park Sydney's new "silicon suburb". What's not to love?

The Coffee Creators from Seventh Wave are warm and friendly. They're also very chilled to hang and chat with. The coffee is great of course, I had to bring home a bag after my first cup with them. Go!

As an Italian who appreciates coffee, I can confidently say: best coffee in Sydney. Large choice of single origin beans and great blends. But what is even better is the service: James and his staff (Tatiana is fantastic) are absolutely amazing, lovely people and always keen for a good chat and put a smile on your face. Really nice atmosphere if you have time to take your coffee at the table and great service even if you are after take away. This cafe is an absolute must if you are after some good coffee.
