Le Foote knows what’s good when it comes to
Mediterranean dining!

Visited this place with a few friends and had the banquet with an extra course of oysters.

Blood-y hell… it was good! From the taramasalata, to the grilled octopus, and finishing with the steak and sides… everything was tastier than the next.. and we left feeling pretty full up. Well worth it for the banquet!

The restaurant itself is quite unique with alfresco dining, the staff were pleasant and engaging.

Had a great time here and look forward to returning!

Oh, and we were generously gifted a complimentary shots of limoncello to finish off.

We were at The Rocks just walking around when we stumbled upon this restaurant. The area seems like a tourist trap but not this place. We were pleasantly surprised. Every dish was high quality and very flavorful. The staff was very nice and explained every dish.

- octopus tasted well with a good chew, chopped potatoes & cashews both went well with the octopus, and it looks like a "Gambas al ajillo" but it is an octopus version instead.

- personally would not recommend the duck sausage since the taste was a bit bland.

- our mains were steak and prawn, both were cooked to a good doneness with balanced seasoning.

This was a random choice for lunch after a couple of pints of Guiness at the Mercantile listening to some live music.

Sunday in The Rocks is a great atmosphere.
So we sat outside Le Foote and our afternoon was looked after by the fabulous Laura. Thank you Laura.

Five of us shared most of the starters and threw in a couple of Maine courses with a bottle of French Rose, Australian Riesling and Tattinger Champagne for good measure.

The Duck 🦆 sausage was delightful, simple yet juicy and full of flavour.

The Calamari 🦑🐙was fresh, soft and perfectly juicy with a delicious sauce

The Cheese 🧀 Pie 🥧 is an absolute must have ( will have to get the recipe).

The Prawns 🦐 for main course were sensational. Cooked beautifuly with lovely flavours.

The Special was Steak 🥩 and Frites 🍟 which was also a table winner.

Throw in an Endive side salad 🥗 for good measure.

After a fabulous lunch we walked down the Fortune of War pub for more outside drinks with live entertainment. The musician played some classics like Ernie - who drove the fastest milk cart in the west. 😘

We went here for dinner last night for my dads birthday. Wow it was incredible. We did the larger banquet and was sooo tasty! I have a few dietry requirements and they were so accomodating. Our server was also fantastic and very attentive. Definitely will be back!

The food is AMAZING!
Our favourite is their beef tartare and octopus. It's so good that my partner swear to coming back for another time.
Our waiter was excellent, very attentive and friendly with us.
It was an amazing experience 😃

What use to be know as Phillips Foot, a pretty good pub in its day, where you could sit out the back and cook your own steak, has been transformed into a Mediterranean marvel! The atmosphere was fantastic and food sensational. Drink selection and cocktails where just right! House made Focaccia was to die for. Every small share plate and meal was spot on. The ambience and French and Italian music in the background added to the journey. Well done guys. All your venues are fantastic!

Had the pleasure of dining here for my birthday and my friends and I still haven’t stopped gushing about how perfect it was. All of the food HIT. We tried all of the entrees, highly recommend for a group. The duck sausage, tartare, cheese pie and the potato side were standouts and the fish main was BEAUTIFUL and GINORMOUS. The service was so good it made me emotional and the courtyard dining room was chic and lush. Everyone in this venue was HOT and radiated magnanimous vibes. I will be returning asap…it is clear Le Foote could turn even the most non-occasion into an OCCASION. Everything I could have hoped for thank youuuuu

As a swillhouse group establishment your venues never cease to impress me on the level of professionalism and quality that I feel like sets the standard for what other places should be.

Great food, knowledgeable staff who were extremely helpful and courteous.

Shout out to the eggplant main. If you're not veg order it as a side. Sickest flavours.

Faultless as always.

Beautiful restaurant, ambience & service was outstanding. We sat in the back section which was elegant & appointed with white starched tablecloths & golden murals & dim lighting.
I had the calamari for entree which was divine - tender & fresh - I would have slurped the sauce from the bowl if I could! Prawns for main which were light & delicious.
My dining partner had the oysters (v fresh) for entree then the steak which she was swooning over - we had pomme frite & endive salad as perfect accompaniments. I had a Chablis which was superb. The Pinot was also excellent apparently. Our waiter who was lovely both attentive & friendly even brought out a scoop of ice cream as a birthday surprise which was the stand out dish aromatic & caramel flavours! Wonderful night

We happened to cross here one evening. We were worried it would be some soul-less, overpriced tourist trap, given its location. However the opposite the proved to be true (except perhaps the price, it is pretty expensive). We were sat in a candlelit inside courtyard, had a couple of delicious starters and desserts, and split a pisco sour which they made for us even though it wasn't on the menu. On the whole, we had a super special, really lovely evening, and will definitely dine here again in the future.

My friend celebrated her birthday here yesterday. It was a good experience, the food tasted good and the price was moderate considering the service and location. We were particularly impressed with the service provided by Zane. He would give us honest recommendations based on our appetites and food intake, without over-marketing. We felt truly cared for and he was really sweet. He said he was quite new here but he performs really professionally.Thank you for your attentive service.

Great food great vibes. We were the first customers for lunch on Saturday, I feel like the staff were rushing around a bit, which felt frantic. But other than that, it was a great experience. I would return to any Swillhouse establishment

My visit to Le Foote was long-awaited, and it more than lived up to my expectations. The steak was undeniably amazing, but the true highlight for me was the barramundi and the calamari skewers - both exquisite and brimming with flavor.

I absolutely love this place! It’s perfect for a cheeky arvo wine in their incredibly historical court yard (the lane way in the rocks, you actually see tour guides walking through!) to having an incredible lunch or dinner.

The wine list is great as is the wine list by the glass. Prices are reasonable.
The staff recommended excellent wine choices.

Food is really good and again actually reasonably priced against the quality. Circular quay is often overpriced for low quality food, this place bucks the trend.

All I can say is book an early arvo spot for lunch and continue into the evening. You wont regret it.

Shout out to the staff who have been amazing every visit. Friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable about the menu.

The only thing is the dinning area is particularly loud due to the acoustics of the room. Not much can be done about it! Enjoy the atmosphere!

I think if you are in a wheelchair, you might have some access issues. You may need to check with the restaurant for assistance.
