Lakesway Bakery have been around for many years serving the Forster and Great lakes communities. Each year I'll travel near 2000km just to spend some time, relax by soaking up the tranquility with a hot pie and sauce and so many times which I shouldn't a beautiful cake.

This place was absolutely fire, having by far the nicest pie and sausage roll i have ever eaten in Australia.

Being a tucked away little shop you would have never expected the freshness, and deliciousness that came from the shop.

The staff are super friendly and overall this was a great way to end our trip!

Best pies around cheese bacon are to die for as are the patato cheese and bacon. Never found a better pie in Australia 🙌🏽💯🇦🇺

Small bakery inside. Main takeaway was the chemistry between the two front of house staff. Completing each other's sentences ect. Food was goods 😀

A local put me on to the Lakesway Bakery. I have to admit that from the outside it is nothing to speak of, but the selection inside is the best in Forster. Once you know where to find it you will keep going back, I know that I have.

OH MY GOODNESS this place is seriously the best pie shop in all of NSW, I travel around a fair bit and I'm always on the lookout for a great bakery and a cheese and bacon pie is My go to for lunch and let me tell you that you can't find a better pie than the lakes way bakery (if you know of better let me know) their loaded with cheese and bacon and are deep and a very generous size, there's always a line up especially in holidays but I'd wait for an hour if I had to because nothing compares to the taste and size, don't change a thing lakes way bakery your on a winner 🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆

Never been there before but was highly recommended by a regular...and we were not disappointed! The pies and cakes were some of the best we have ever eaten. Though stopped 20 minutes down the road to eat them and a kookaburra dived down and literally snatched it out of husbands hands!! Wish I had a camera.

Great local bakery, popular with locals. Tasty, authentic pies and sausage rolls, enjoyed by all. Their tomato bacon onion cheese beef pie is well worth it, remember to keep it level!

They donated lots of pies for the RFSNSW and FRNSW members attending a fire near by. They also donated more baked goods to the catering crew to disperse along the fire line to hungry crews when the fires were running through rainbow flat. As a member of the RFS i would like to thank them for the generosity and the great food they provide, if i could give them more than 5 stars i would.
