Hurricane's Grill Circular Quay

We had a lovely lunch at Hurricanes today. We were greeted by friendly waitstaff and seated at the window overlooking Circular Quay. Ordered half rack of pork ribs with fries and the garlic prawns. Both meals were delicious.

What a great restaurant and fabulous food. The pork ribs were amazing and huge servings. The prawn villamoura was delicious. Prices are commensurate with quality, and I found the wine list to be very reasonably priced compared to other restaurants. My only negative, and it is not really a big deal, was the noise level. A very open restaurant so conversation was a little limited. All in all a solid 5 star experience. Worth a visit.

My favorite restaurant to eat some ribs with my family. The service is always great, and the taste is superb. Price-wise is a little bit expensive, as expected from the location and the food, totally worth the splurge.

The rib is huge (as expected), but you can enjoy the “half-rack” alone, or together. I love their blackpepper sauce as well as their mushroom sauce. The steak is perfectly cooked to my taste (medium rare) and complemented nicely with the side dish and sauce.

Reserving in advance is highly recommended.

Food is pretty similar to other Hurricanes. I decided to try something different this time and got the scallops starter and the quinoa and cauliflower salad. I loved both. They were such a refreshing change to the meat heavy dishes (which are still amazing but I needed a change)

Went here on weekday for family lunch , the place was busy but the service was excellent. We ordered beef ribs and tomahawk , both were very nice. The sweet potato for the side dish was exceptionally great!

It's my first visit after they moved to Circular Quay, and I still love this franchise! The signature 'Pork Ribs' is still satisfying, and the atmosphere is very chill.

Illrelavantly speaking of the restaurant itself, the building has only one lift which make people wait for a while in busy time, so especially for those who 'have to' use the lift bear with your mind when you visit.

Great spot for ribs. I had tried the ribs medley and bitter soda for lunch. The ribs were tender and full of flavor. The service was great. The waiter was attentive and offered apron because I was wearing white shirts.

If you’re a massive carnivore that enjoys all things MEAT 🥩 then this is the place for you!!! The ribs & steak are basted with the most delicious secret sauce that is truly super addictive! If you are not a meat eater - they have an awesome selection of vegan dishes - catering to all dietary preferences! An incredible selection of alcohol 🍷 great open dining space that seats a lot of people. Great restaurant!

I have been eating at Hurricanes for 25 years and can safely say it’s still just as good as it was back then!

It was my first time visiting the Circular Quay restaurant and I found it a little bit hard to locate, but that may have been because of the vivid crowds. The restaurant is nice, staff are friendly and the service is very fast. I ordered the steak and pork rib combo and was not disappointed! The ribs are still as tender and succulent as they ever have been. The sauce is delicious and the meat just falls off the bone. The steak was cooked perfectly and was basted in that familiar steak basting sauce.

I missed the complimentary bread they used to serve, but overall it was an amazing meal and I will continue to be a patron for the next 25 years if the doors remain open!

Food and service was amazing, recommend for date nights or having dinner with friends. Pork rib was my favorite! Better to go with a reservation as there are a lot of people.

Had the "Baby" ribs, Wagyu Beef burger & Grilled Octopus.
The ribs are great tasting, meat is tender & well seasoned.
Burger and Octopus are good but not fantastic.
Salads are fresh & crunchy.
Ribs are highly recommended.
Service crew are friendly & attentive.
Dining area is bit too dim for comfort.

Hurricane’s Grill was a really good experience and i am glad i took my parents there. The steaks were affordable and halal which made the experience even better. The highlight for me was the Cheesy Garlic Cobb. My parents absolutely loved it!

Can't say I was thrilled eating here but our waitress made it all worth the while, we ordered the steak and cutlets and only thing I didn't like was the basting on the cutlets sometimes plain is better the share entree platter is to die for and the salads are amazingly large and filling.
A great place. Pity you don't have a view as the railway station blocks it off.

We had dinner there after hearing a lot about their RIBS. It's location is perfect. We got window seats to a view of the busy streets with trams and trains passing by.
The pork ribs was juicy and tasty. We also had striploin steak. Very tender and perfectly cooked.
Service was superb. So, we'll definitely be back again.

Everytime I look at him, he knows what I need without me telling, from placing order, getting water, tea spoon etc. Thanks Shawn for the great service. This is a wonderful closing for my trip in Australia as I'm leaving to airport after this meal.

Loved the pork ribs , sweet potato fries, cauliflower and quinoa salad. Second time coming here and still love the food and service.

Extremely Delicious! Try the ribs and enjoy! That’s the recipe for the good time. The service was okay and one of the waitresses was rude to other guests, so this is something to improve.

Popped in for a mid-week treat yo’self. First time coming here.. cocktail was scrumptious! Chips great! Mushroom sauce Devine! Burger was good but I would probably order it medium next time as “well-done” was a bit dry for my liking. Egg white was still runny.. easy solution would have been doing over-easy. Seal both sides while still having that beautiful runny yolk.
Onion rings were superb.
8/10 would dine here again to try other options on the menu
