Great restaurant - one of the rare ones that open till so late!! Food tasted great, generous portions 🤩 The tomyum soup comes in this heated pot that keeps it warm!

The boysenberry cheesecake dessert wasn’t good though - tasted a bit rubbery

Service was so quick and food came out almost instantly! Such a good spot for a meal after a late night out.

My favourites were:

🛶 Beef Boat Noodles: The broth here is a bit sweeter than others I’ve tried but it balanced out the herbal flavours. As you mix the clear noodles through the soup, they collect all the aromatics. My favourite part of this dish were the chewy beef balls. The meaty tastes were nice contrasts from the earthy broth.

🐤 Tom Kha Kai: This was so good with a bowl of plain rice for the flavours to be soaked up and shine more! It was a blend of creamy, tangy, sweet, salty, and spicy elements. The creamy richness comes from coconut milk, which provides a smooth, slightly sweet base. This is contrasted by the tanginess of fresh lime juice and the subtle heat from galangal (a type of ginger) and chili peppers. Lemongrass and kaffir lime leaves add a fragrant, citrusy aroma, while some fish sauce contributes a salty umami depth. The chicken and mushrooms absorbed the broth nicely.

This’s been my lifeline in Sydney for after theater dinners as it opens till 1am.

Great food. Must try the whole fried sweet and sour fish. Also $10 jumbo Thai milktea is too good a deal.

The staffs were all so nice and friendly in an Asian way, I don’t know how to put it. On weekend nights they also have live music.

Saturday night dinner and Sunday morning coffee at this place was amazing. Great food. We started with a couple of cocktails and some starters. This time we made sure we had room for dessert. Will come back !!

Immaculate, clean, gracious helpful staff - so many nice options on the menu - the coconut soup looked amazing, as did the yum talay but in the end i went for a seafood pad Thai - can't beat the classics right?!
Best pad Thai ever.
Just amazing and well priced.
Wish I had discovered Fat Thaiger before today ad I'm back off to Darwin tomorrow. See you next time Thaiger!

Amazing Thai food here !

A rare dinner place that open so late with great selections of authentic and unique Thai food. They also have a cafe and a bar as well.

I love how flavourful each dish and the sauce just go perfectly with it. The sauce can be extremely spicy on the entree of the grilled salmon . I love how crispy the Calum and goes so well with the sweet chill ( just beautiful. I really like the deep fried papaya salad as it so unique dish that I haven’t try anywhere else. I must say the sauce is flavour bomb and I’m still mouthwatering thinking about it now. The fried rice pineapple is well decorated and tasty. The tiramisu is just hit the spot for me . The portion were generous and staff were friendly. They have live music and ambience vibe. Overall it was a very enjoyable dinner place.

Really recommend to pay a visit here.

Great spot for friends gathering! Delicious Thai food and the cocktail was amazing. Also they got great selection of cakes too!

I can't believe I finally found a restaurant that's open until 3 am, especially one that serves amazing food. The beef is so tender and juicy; I definitely love the sauce. I've tried the grilled pork skewer, it has a very fragrant smell, smoky, and was marinated so well.

I highly rate! 🧡 This restaurant is great casual modern dinner venue and is very comfortable with nice lighting and friendly and attentive staff. The menu has an amazing variety of dishes and shows a picture for each meal so you know what you’re going to get. The classic pad Thai and pad see ew did not disappoint and the stewed pork belly is a must have. The night my partner and I went there was live music playing. I’ll definitely come here again and try their noodles and curries.

I ordered Chicken wing, Cabbage and Tom yum. The taste is so excellent. At a glance, food seems a bit expensive, however, portion sizes and quality easily justify the cost. Their tom yum is always yummy. Staffs are so friendly, helpful.

What an incredible experience here at The Fat Thaiger.
Service is impeccable! Friendly and welcoming and knowledgeable and attentive. They’re more than happy to assist with dietary requirements and accomodate the customer.
The seating and tables are spacious and comfortable and there are lots of different spots to pick from.
The ambience is well thought out and beautiful to experience. There’s something new and interesting to observe in every corner of the place.
There was live music here when we came and that was a pleasant surprise.

The food! Wow the food! So fresh and flavourful and classic and authentic. Absolutely delicious and yummy. Serving sizes are very generous and amazing value for money and high quality food.
You must try the vegetarian spring rolls and the Green Curry. Divine.

There are a lot of hot and cold drinks to choose from and freshly squeezed juice which was delicious !

Overall we had such an incredible experience here and will definitely be back!

I had my breakfast here, found they had Asian Breakfast and choosed Thai porridge and Flat white on soy milk.
The tasted is authentic, big portion too and will be back for lunch or dinner next time!

A busy place during lunch I would book a place just in case. Love the ambience here with its unique and interesting feel. Food wise everything we had was good. Pineapple fried rice comes out in a pineapple, my friend was impressed with his beef noodle soup. If you like crunchy you must try the salt and pepper calamari. The pork skewers are nicely marinated. Do yourself a favour and visit!!

This Thai eatery is a cafe/restaurant/bar) and open from 7am until 3am most nights! I went here for lunch and had Pad Mee Korat; which was like Pad Thai but spicier & with pork, and I loved it 😘! I tried a bit of papaya salad (which has salted crabs) & boat noodle soup too which were yum. Great food, nice vibe & super lovely service too 😊. Oh and they sell cakes too!

Absolutely the best meal, staff was friendly. Place was very clean and would definitely go there again.

We ordered takeaway from Fat Thaiger at about 1 am Sydney time. The food arrived fresh, warm, and unbelievably delicious. We can't wait to try the dine-in experience. Do not hesitate to order takeout from this restaurant.

Very authentic Thai with amazing flavours, great ambience and friendly service! The meat was incredibly tender in all the dishes and Singha beer on tap! Highly recommended!

As soon as I walked in, the lady asked me to check in (with NSW Services) which was awesome! 100% Covid-19 Safe! My number 1 main concern was the cleanliness, the social distancing and the check in point.

The customer service was great, friendly and also welcoming.

The lady seated me immediately and took my order, it was not a long wait.

I loved the food + beverage I ordered. Tasted like I was in Thailand, the food was very authentic (photo attached to this review)

I loved the ambience, very relaxing and chill atmosphere (if you wish to drink, you can order alcoholic beverages) as soon as you walk in, you will see the bar. Looks like a great place to go to during the evenings.

I would highly recommend this venue. It’s quite new, I was just walking in George street and found this restaurant by accident but well worth it.
