Fratelli Paradiso

Having Monday lunch, not too many restaurants opened for lunch on Mondays, decided to go there after so many years. Service was prompt by the Italian waiter, we had the trademark Calamari (we had it many times in the past - pre pandemic) which was very tasty and the serving size was generous, we chose today's special the Ravioli, the presentation was not that great but it was very tasty, we also had Tutti Mare which had sardines, mussels and octopus which was very very nicely done especially the octopus which was tender and very rich in taste. All in all a very nice lunch.

Went there spontaneously from another recommendation. Did not disappoint. Food was great & service from Dean was excellent. It’s even dog friendly. Highly recommend.

Amazing experience here for Valentines Day, Fratelli Paradiso is truly one of the best restaurants in Sydney! The decor was amazing and the customer service is truly next level. Our waiter was attentive (but not hovering) and split our pasta in two on 2 separate plates (as we were sharing). Really next level service which made the experience so lovely. Not to mention the food and flavor combinations… these were incredible and was something me and my partner had never tasted before. Couldn’t recommend more!

Fratelli Paradiso is an institution in Potts Point - the food is fresh, well prepared and portion sizes are reasonable without being too much. We shared 3 starters for 4 people and then ordered a main each without sides and it was plenty for us. Wine list is good with a range in styles and price (including Italian wines).
Service was improved from previous visits (maybe we were lucky and had a nice waiter). Monday dining is also a plus. Be sure to book as the restaurant fills up quickly every night.

As usual, a fabulous night at Fratelli. It is hands down my favourite Potts Point dining experience. Last night was bustling but all credit to GianMichele fo making sure that we were very well cared for with a flow of delicious food and wonderful wines and cocktails. And with excellent help from Lorenzo and Gigi. It’s always so much fun and great food. The Bistecca was outstanding. And the scampi pasta is always delicious! Brava team.

Outstanding in every way! We received a very warm welcome from Gigi….fabulous, very helpful with the menu and specials and proud of the wines!!!! Dean, Sabre and Marcus are quite a trio of servers. The dinners were fabulous, I had the Tagliatelle special with tiny clams and my husband had the Scampi Spaghetti. Gigi is one of the most outstanding servers I have ever met. He is professional yet very personable, knowledgeable and fun! Fratelli Paradiso is the closest restaurant to one in Sicily or the North End of Boston! Grazie Mille 💝

Loved the meals we had, the taste was excellent and the pasta perfectly cooked.
The staff was so energetic, efficient and polite.

It has a posh vibe and more of a contemporary menu, where ingredients like scampi, crab, angus beef and squid ink-pasta were served. Nevertheless the flavour and the taste remains excellent and satisfies my italian food cravings. Would come back for more.

My most favourite restaurant in Sydney. I cant believe it's been more than 20 years of amazing experiences. Thankyou to everyone involved past and present. PS if you like chardonnay ask Albi about his Mt Etna fave!

This place feels like an Italian institution, and did not disappoint. The staff were at attentive and welcoming, and the food was amazing - light and good portions.

Great pasta and really friendly and attentive service. Recommend the scampi spaghetti in particular. Busy and lively, but still ok for a normal conversation. Will be back to try more.

An institution for the inner city; Potts Point/Darlinghurst. Located on Challis Street; THE eat Street in 2011. Great Italian menu. Huge Italian wine list from every region in Italy. Service was good, atmosphere was good; prefect for a date place. Parking is not great.

Went there to have their scampi pasta (which I had before) but arrived way too early and decided to stay and try their breakfast instead and it was mind blowing!

Just outstanding. I’ve been going for over 30 yrs. I cannot reach their level of cooking. Such wonderful and simple Italian food.

We had a bit of a confusing start to the evening when they didn’t seem to find our booking in their system. Nevertheless they still managed to get us a table and the rest of the dinner was amazing! The service here is awesome as the staff was very attentive and friendly. The ambience was very intimate and seems like a great place for dates.

In regards to the food - out of the 3 entrees we had definitely the calamari was the highlight - it was probably the best fried calamari I’ve ever had. Finally for mains we had the roast pork and the scampi spaghetti, both of the dishes were absolute A grade - the pork was beautifully seasoned and moist and the spaghetti was cooked al dente and the sauce was jam packed full of flavour. It was also complemented with some beautiful wine from the waiter.
