The team at bill hicks were nothing short of amazing when I turned up with a bag of inhereted jewellery from my nan - and absolutely no idea what to do with it all. They worked closely with me to meet my tight budget and encouraged my input on ideas for remodelling and repairs. Emma was fantastic at coming up with a design which included a number of random sized diamonds and sapphires into a stackable ring. The quality of the repairs and refurbishment they undertook to some old cluster rings was amazing - they now look good as new!

You can expect incredible quality and attention to detail in both jewellery design and restoration. Bill Hicks Jewellery Design is old school in the sense of quality materials and no shortcuts being taken, while still designing modern and stunning pieces of jewellery.

My engagement ring was a family heirloom from my great grandmother (over 90 years old) and desperately needed attention to avoid the diamonds falling out. Two other jewellers told me that I should completely redesign the ring (with them, meaning $$$), the second I met Bill I knew I was in the right hands when he said he woudn't change a thing about my engagement ring but would just restore and secure the diamonds instead.

My engagement ring is a strange shape and so a regular wedding ring wouldn't have fit, given very minimal direction Bill came up with a stunning design that we are thrilled with. Bill is an honest and incredibly trustworthy jeweller, he was upfront with his suggestions and was transparent with where he thought money was best spent.

Bill Hicks is where it’s at! I had this yellow sapphire sourced for me with the help from Alicia and we went back and forth to find the right size and colour but we got there! The main diamond had fallen out of my grandmothers 60+ year old engagement ring. Due to the design and the years of wear, the ring needed to be redesigned. This was a very emotional decision for me and Bill gave me all the information, comfort and time I needed. The most important part to me was that my grandmothers design was respected and the era of the original ring was upheld. Bill absolutely respected this and made sure I had a clear picture of what the ring would look like upon the finished product. He made sure I was leaving completely happy with the end product.

My incredible wedding ring and husbands wedding ring were all designed by the fantastic Bill Hicks and his team in Sydney. The necklace I wore was also from Bill Hicks. From the start of the design process Bill made us feel as though we were part of the process and helped guide us through to our final designs.

I heard about Bill Hicks Jewellery & Design through a colleague. I organized a consultation with Bill to create an engagement ring and he exceeded my expectations. Working with basic information he crafted a unique elegant ring. One of my major concerns was the ring size, I trusted in his professionalism and experience and he was able to deduced the ring size correctly. It ended up being a perfect size. We were after a gem stone engagement ring and found Bill Hicks following a Google search. Bill was the 3rd jeweller we visited and was by far the most receptive to our requests. He was the only one who listened to exactly what we wanted and offered constructive feedback to improve our ideas, not change them. He was extremely patient in our consultations. Emma and Alicia were equally helpful and attentive. We ended up with a stunning Ceylon blue sapphire solitaire ring which was within our price range. I can't speak highly enough of Bill and his team. I recently had an engagement ring designed by Bill and the entire experience has been great. I explained what I wanted and Bill then worked through it with me, offering suggestions on what would work and the type of diamond that may be most suitable. I've since gone back and had the wedding rings designed and Bill was very precise in making sure that wedding ring would match sit correctly with the engagement ring.He's obviously extremely knowledgeable and as a result I learned a lot along the way. Probably the best thing about the experience was that I never felt Bill or the team were trying to sell me anything, in fact Bill probably saved me money by suggesting a slightly cheaper diamond that would achieve the same effect. This was refreshing as many of the other jewellers I had initially seen had salespeople who you deal with before you speak to an actual jeweller. Bill's team are all actual jewellers and I felt they were more excites about making a beautiful piece of jewellery than they were with taking my money. Will definitely use Bill Hicks for any custom jewellery I need in the future.

We went with Bill for the engagement ring, our wedding bands and a necklace. Bill's diamonds are of the finest quality and the products are beautiful. His service is incredibly professional and friendly. He was so accommodating with after work meetings. The prices are also on point - not cheap but not ridiculous exorbitant - they are fair and you get value for money. We can't thank Bill enough!
